VOPA'S MISSION IS TO STAND TO COMBAT HOMELESSNESS AMONG VETERANS BY PROVIDING SUPPORT AND SERVICES NEEDED TO PROMOTE AN EMPOWERED LIFE FILLED WITH STRENGTH AND PURPOSE.

1. TO PROVIDE CEREMONIAL AND MEMORIAL DISCHARGED VETERAN. 2. TO PARTICIPATE, AS A MILITARY UNIT, SERVICES FOR ANY DECEASED HONORABLY IN PARADES AND FLAG RAISINGS (WITHIN TIME CONSTRAINTS).

At Western Massachusetts Veterans Support Inc., we are dedicated to improving our efforts in addressing the needs of the currently serving Military and veterans throughout Western Massachusetts. They are Presently serving or have served for our country, and we want to serve for them. With cooperation and community empowerment, we believe we can facilitate progress in this area. At WMVS, we are always striving to make a difference, and we invite you to learn more and lend your support.

Northeast Florida Women Veterans, Inc. is focused on ensuring women who have served on active duty, National Guard or Reserves and their children, transition into the civilian community with the tools they need to become self-sufficient

To help veterans and military families cope with post traumatic stress distorder (PTSD) and other service related stresses through collaborative filmmaking workshops designed to reduce PTS symptoms, promote engagement with family and community, and help facilitate successful transition back into civilian life.

The USS Liberty Veterans Association was established to provide support for survivors of the June 8, 1967 attack on the USS Liberty. The efforts of the LVA is also focused on ensuring the US government finally conducts the public investigation of the attack on the USS Liberty. Such an investigation routinely follows an attack of this kind but for reasons as yet unexplained even to members of the crew has been denied the attack on the USS Liberty.The LVA also educates the public on the attack of the USS Liberty and tries to ensure such an event never again occurs.

To provide "shalva"--which means "peace of mind" inHebrew--to Israel's mentally and physically challenged children and theirfamilies by --helping each child achieve his/her full potential throughcomprehensive, vanguard programs in a beautiful, caring environment, --providingneeded respite and support to their families, enabling them raise their childat home, with their family, and thereby forego institutionalizing the child,--improving both the child's quality of life and that of the entire family,--advocating on behalf of mentally and challenged children and their familiesin Israel and the world, --providing research and training to enable others toduplicate the Shalva model and its programs --training volunteers to beeffective in working with special needs children and to be exemplary,sensitive, caring individuals
