Salute to Youth Project, Inc. was initiated in 1960. This project, a 501(c)(3) organization, is primarily funded by the Brooklyn Chapter of the Links, Inc., provides scholarships and financial awards to college-bound high school seniors. Since its inception, Salute to Youth Project, Inc. has given financial awards to more than 600 students. Through the years, more than $425,000 has been awarded to deserving seniors.

Mercy Learning Center of Bridgeport, Inc. provides basic literacy and life skills training to low-income women using a holistic approach within a compassionate, supportive environment. All women are welcome without regard for race, religion, color, creed, sexual orientation or national origin. Founded in 1987 by two educators who wanted to assist mothers of children in the local schools to help their children succeed, Mercy Learning Center (MLC) started as a one-on-one tutoring program. Today, MLC offers comprehensive full- and part-time literacy and life skills programs, an educational childcare program and ancillary services to over 850 women and 160 of their children each year. Having served more than 9,000 women and their children since its beginnings, MLC is helping to improve the quality of life for women and families throughout the Greater Bridgeport community.

The primary purpose of the Legal Aid Society is to provide quality legal services for the low-income residents, the working poor, children and disadvantaged groups with special legal needs in Orange County, Florida, and to assist in providing legal aid services to similarly situated residents of neighboring counties through an effective and fiscally sound program through the combined efforts of staff and pro bono attorneys.

The mission of the Adaptive Design Association is to engage families, schools, and communities in the process of designing and building child-specific adaptive equipment.  The goal of this collaborative effort is to make certain that children with disabilities get the devices and modifications they need to achieve their full developmental, social, and academic potential.

The Deeper Window Association exists for the purpose of dementia empowerment for people living with dementia and their caregivers through education, programs, engagement opportunities, support services, and resources during all stages of Alzheimer's.

Nebraska CASA Association partners with local CASA programs to recruit and train volunteers who speak in court for the safety and well-being of abused and neglected children.

Over the 40 years of making life better for Laurel, the Laurel Civic Association has grown to become an active and dedicated non-profit organization making a difference in a wide range of neighborhood issues throughout Sarasota County.
