Believe In Tomorrow National Children's Foundation is a twenty-five year-old, non-profit organization with a mission to provide unique programs that bring comfort,joy and hope to critically ill children and their families. We believe in keeping families together during a child's medical crisis, and that the gentle cadence of normal family life has a powerful influence on the healing process. Believe In Tomorrow has provided more than a quarter of a million overnight accommodations to children from every state in the United States. Our programs include Children's Hospital and Retreat Housing and Hands On Adventures that provide ongoing support to children and families from the child's diagnosis to the end of the treatment process.

Our goal is for the young children who attend our program to enter kindergarten "ready to succeed." We accomplish this goal by: (1) providing the necessary early intervention services for those children "at-risk" of failure when they enter the public schools; (2) promoting strong families to support children as they grow, develop and enter the public schools; (3) providing staff with the support and training necessary to work with children and parents with diverse backgrounds and abilities; (4) maintaining a high-quality, early childhood program with a stable professionally trained staff.

The mission of Variety of Illinois is to improve the quality of life for children with disabilities by providing the equipment and experiences needed to reach their highest potential. This is accomplished through programs such as Variety at Play, offering inclusive, accessible activities for the whole family, Kids on the Go that provides mobility equipment not covered by insurance for children with physical limitations, and Live to Achieve that encourages participation & excellence in adaptive sports. Jacob's Heart Children's Cancer Support Services exists to improve the quality of life for children with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses by supporting their families in the challenges they face. We provide family-centered care that addresses the emotional, practical and financial struggles for families of children and teens during treatment, families experiencing anticipatory grief and those who are bereaved. We envision a community where every child with a serious or life-threatening condition has a strong, supported and informed family empowered to fully participate in their care. We strive to inspire compassionate action within local communities to create a safety net of support for the unique needs of each child and family.
