Promise House

Promise House moves abused, abandoned and neglected youth toward safety and success. The agency is one of the ONLY organizations in Dallas County designed to accommodate homeless and runaway young people between the ages of 0 and 24. We provide crisis intervention, transitional housing, pregnant and parenting teen support, counseling, street outreach and education services. By connecting at-risk youth with the resources and encouragement they need to become healthy, self-sufficient adults, we work to prevent chronic homelessness in North Texas.

Shaw House

The Shaw House Mission is to engage youth who are homeless, or at-risk of becoming homeless, in achieving stability and a viable plan for the future by providing a safe, stable environment, access to essential services, supportive adult connections, and advocating for changes that address the needs of homeless youth.

Wynona's House

Gerards House

Gerard's House is a safe place for grieving children and teenagers where healing happens through acceptance and peer support. Our goal is to help children, teens and families heal when their lives have been changed by a loved one’s death or other significant losses. We support them through natural grieving processes, to enable them to regain hope, stabilize physically and emotionally, and re-engage in their schools, families and lives. A priority is removing barriers to participation for the most vulnerable individuals so that they can receive real help as they grapple with unimaginable losses. We do that through outreach, by providing a mobile unit for home visits, by offering programs in schools and by support children whose families have come from Mexico and Central America.
