Sikh Family Center is a national nonprofit organization in the U.S. that promotes community well-being with a particular focus on gender justice. We provide trauma-centered resources for victim-survivors of violence while working to change the social and cultural conditions that allow gendered violence to occur in the first place. Our training, outreach, and advocacy are grounded in cultural tradition, grassroots power, and intergenerational healing.

To provide quality child care and early education and to advocate for the changing needs of children and families.

We are a dynamic association of men, women and children joined together by a shared commitment to nurturing the potential of kids, promoting healthy living and fostering a sense of social responsibility. We believe that lasting personal and social change can only come about when we all work together to invest in our kids, our health and our neighbors. That's why, at the Y, strengthening community is our cause and our programs are always based on the needs and interests of our communities. 100% of all donations go directly toward providing life-changing experiences that will have a meaningful, enduring impact right in our Austin-area community. Because our Mission is to serve ALL people, financial assistance is made available to any individual or family who wants to participate in a YMCA program or activity but who cannot afford the fee. Donations from our community help our Y live it’s Mission every day.

Erie Neighborhood House promotes a just and inclusive society by strengthening low-income, primarily Latino families through skill-building, access to critical resources, advocacy and collaborative action. The Village Method is a holistic approach to enhance the individual, interpersonal, and community relationships between culture, education, and inclusion of families of African ancestry. Our mission is to build capacity for social change and advancement in Black communities combining family, school, and community engagement to promote child development and improve student achievement. We do this using a multi-pronged approach combining youth development, family engagement and community outreach.
