The mission of Vision Health International (VHI) is to improve the vision health of medically underserved people in developing countries by providing free-of-charge professional surgical, medical, and educational services at the invitation of the host country. In addition to providing direct patient care, an integral part of VHI's mission is the capacity building of local medical personnel and the transfer of technology to the medical communities of the countries served. Educational activities include directed training of medical personnel in the latest surgical techniques, pre-and post-operative care, specialized oculoplastic instruction, and patient exams. The transfer of technology is accomplished through donations of surplus surgical supplies and equipment to local medical professionals to allow for continuity of care. Children's Health Council's mission is to help children with ADHD, LD, Anxiety & Depression and Autism Spectrum Disorders thrive by promoting Social Emotional Learning, Academics, Executive functioning and Physical Development. Our Center, two schools and Community Clinic serve families in Silicon Valley as well as the greater San Francisco Bay Area. Toco Hills Community Alliance's mission is to provide assistance and support for individuals and families living in our service area (Dekalb County for food; 9 zip code area: 30030, 30032, 30033, 30319, 30324, 30329, 30340, 30341, 30345) who face the possibility of the loss of housing and/or who are without sufficient food for themselves or their families.

At DC KinCare Alliance, we seek to achieve a future where all DC children live in safe and stable homes without fear of abuse or neglect. We believe that supporting relative caregivers (often grandmothers) who raise DC children in crisis will help accomplish this goal. We work to support relative caregivers who have opened their homes and hearts to DC’s most vulnerable and at-risk children whose parents are not able to care for them.

Pact is a different kind of adoption organization—honest, child-centered, and anti-racist. Since 1991, Pact’s mission has always been to serve adopted children of color. In every case, the child is always our primary client. In order to best serve children’s needs, we provide not only adoptive placement but lifelong education, support, and community.
