All programs and services strive to guide clients toward self-sufficiency. ECCO’s ministry of “Helping Neighbors Help Themselves” attempts to improve the quality of life in our community in a compassionate way that respects the dignity and worth of every person.

The mission of Synergy Services, Inc is to strengthen the individual, family, and community through crisis intervention, shelter, counseling, advocacy, and education. Synergy provides a "lifeline for families and individuals in crisis."  Through an interconnected set of services, the agency provides individuals and families with prevention education, immediate respite from violence, and support to assist them in their ability to find and choose good options for safe and successful futures.

The Painted Turtle

The Painted Turtle’s mission is to provide a year-round, life-changing environment and authentic camp experience for children with chronic and life-threatening illnesses. The Painted Turtle supports children’s medical needs, inspires them to reach beyond their illnesses, and provides care, education and respite for their families. All campers and families attend free of charge. Of the more than one million children in California with chronic and life-threatening illnesses, our needs assessment revealed more than 17,500 are unable to attend summer camp due to their medical conditions. That is, until we came along! The Painted Turtle provides these children and their families with an empowering, renewing experience completely free of charge. The Painted Turtle offers year-round programs including: Spring and Fall Family Weekends for the entire family, one-day family events, week-long Summer Sessions, and hospital/community outreach programs.  

School of arts for unprivileged children Dedal

The aim of Dedal has been to establish an art centre where children from disadvantaged backgrounds can overcome social isolation by developing their skills and talents. Dedal provides free classes in the art and sciences for children from orphanages, single-parent families, and foster families, as well as for children with minor disabilities. In addition to free access, the centre provides the diverse social environment necessary for promoting social integration. During their regular visits to Dedal, children work actively with professional artists and build lasting friendships with kids from diverse family backgrounds. Apart from participating in classes, the children enjoy multiple opportunities to present their achievements at public exhibitions. In addition to the association's prominent role as a diver of cultural and social development, and its political independence, Dedal is made unique by the voluntary service of all of its staff members

Good News Rescue Mission

Founded in 1964 by a group of concerned Christians, the Good News Rescue Mission has offered food, shelter and clothing, as well as the Good News of Jesus Christ to thousands of homeless and poor men, women and children in the northern California area. The Mission also has a work search program, free medical clinic, and a residential alcohol and drug addiction recovery program with transitional support.

Valencia Shelter Services helps individuals affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, & child abuse in their efforts to move their lives forward. We provide shelter, housing, counseling,& advocacy to support them in building lives free from the effects of violence. We seek social change to end domestic violence, sexual assault, & child abuse.

Power For Parkinson's

Power for Parkinson's mission is to provide free fitness, dance, and singing classes for people with Parkinson's Disease and their care partners in Austin, Texas and worldwide. We aim to engage people with Parkinson’s in regular exercise to slow or even reverse the effects of PD, improve overall sense of well-being, provide opportunities for socialization, and help prevent depression and isolation that often accompanies the disease

The mission of Ministries of Aides International, Incorporated (MAII) is to partner with undeserved communities in order to offer compassionate aid and empowering education that prepare families for healthy, self-sufficient futures. Young adults who grow up in orphanages and residential care are uniquely at risk for crime, low educational and professional attainment, mental health issues, suicide, homelessness, and early mortality. We come alongside these young adults and provide wrap-around services including counseling, financial support, and professional networking to help them build bright futures.

Hope Cottage

Hope Cottage's mission is to nurture and build families through eductaion, counseling and adoption services. Since 1918, Hope Cottage has helped more than 26,000 pregnant women make the best possible choices for themselves and their children. Our services for pregnant women are always free. Services include pregnancy counseling, case management services, assistance with basic needs and referrals to community resources.
