Concordia Welfare and Education Foundation

MISSION: Concordia Welfare & Education Foundation is a Hong Kong based non-profit organization founded by Lutheran Christians and dedicated to improving the lives of impoverished rural communities in Asia through education and service. We partner with local communities, organizations and governments to identify sources of poverty and implement programs in the areas of education and community health. Kids Around The World

At Kids Around the World, our heartbeat is to share God’s transforming hope through FOOD, PLAY & STORY. We partner with others in order to empower future generations to live hope-filled, Christ-centered lives. This is accomplished through US based meal packing events that provide nutritious meals, building community centered playgrounds in impoverished areas and engaging kids in gospel driven StoryClubs. The National Campaign

The National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy seeks to improve the lives and future prospects of children and families and, in particular, to help ensure that children are born into stable, two-parent families who are committed to and ready for the demanding task of raising the next generation. Our specific strategy is to prevent teen pregnancy and unplanned pregnancy among single, young adults. We support a combination of responsible values and behavior by both men and women and responsible policies in both the public and private sectors.

COMMUNITY RESOURCE CENTER - NASHVILLE

The Community Resource Center provides new and donated household merchandise, appliances and furniture to nonprofit agencies and their clients in need. We serve more than 100 nonprofit agencies in 20 counties with free monthly giveaways of basic household items. We also supply furniture and appliances at no charge. Last year CRC provided $1.9 million worth of merchandise to our nonprofit partners and directly to clients. The vast majority of our clients are in Davidson County.

Student Parents Cooperative Day Care Center

Our Co-op was organized in 1972 as an alternative to the established for-profit early childcare and preschool programs available at the time. We started as a group of parents who understood that young children learn naturally in an environment offering a choice of activities created with children’s needs in mind. We offer a quality, independent program that includes free play, games, self-help, social skills, creative expression, and field trips. Our program is guided by the following tenets:

Mission statement: To mobilize resources to fight hunger in our community. The africActive is a volunteer-led non-profit with a network that spans around the world and is transforming lives and communities by offering free resources and services that address immediate and long-term needs - all while spreading the giving culture, sharing a smile, and a fun and supportive environment. The Reboli Center For Art And History

The Reboli Center for Art and History is a certified 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit art gallery, organized to preserve, support and provide public access to the artwork of Joseph Reboli. We also provide artistic and educational programs for people of all ages along with presenting the works of contemporary artists and artisans. Our historic building is located in the heart of scenic Stony Brook Village, New York and entry is always free to the public during our regular business hours.

Many Mothers

Many Mothers strengthens communities by providing vital support at the pivotal time when a new baby joins a family. Skilled volunteers share their expertise to help a family with its practical, educational, and emotional concerns. Mothers are physically renewed and psychologically empowered to meet the daily challenges of raising a family. Family members are supported in attachment and in bonding which is critical to a child's life-long physical and emotional development. Many Mothers’ “village” approach to family support creates a brighter future for our children and our communities.

Chosen Girls Rock

The mission of Chosen Girls Rock! Inc. is the pursuit of the following principles: • Commitment: CGR wants to inspire pro-social friendships, strong interpersonal skills, and instill a sense of hope in the future. • Responsibility: The focus of CGR is to empower young girls in establishing goals and following through on commitments • Possibility: CGR wants to expand the perspective of young girls to make them aware of life's possibilities. • Support: An individual is dramatically influenced by their support system. CGR wants to surround young people in a caring, inclusive learning environment.

Youth Guidance

Youth Guidance sees a bright and successful future for every elementary and high school student.  Because we believe that success in school is not only possible but should be achieved and celebrated, we are present in the schools to facilitate an environment that truly engages students in the learning process, and through careful guidance, enables them to realize their full potential and graduate with a meaningful plan for successfully managing life. Youth Guidance creates and implements school-based programs that enable children to overcome obstacles, focus on their education and, ultimately, to succeed in school and in life.

Gifting Dreamers Inc

Gifting Dreamers is a 501c3, which empowers and inspires youth ages 12-18 who have lost a parent to illness or violence through FREE life skill classes, DREAM experiences and BELIEVE mentoring. We believe every child has a DREAM unfortunately traumatic life experiences can divert those dreams. Gifting Dreamers is here to help Young Lady Dreamers and Young Men Dreamers get their DREAM back and live a Positive, Productive, and DREAM-filled life!
