Ronald McDonald House Charities of Alabama (RMHCA) provides temporary, affordable housing for the families of sick or injured children, just one block from Children's of Alabama and UAB Hospital. RMHCA is also a community where families find strength and courage in their journey of hope, happiness and growth.

A Precious Child assists children and families facing difficult life challenges such as abuse and neglect, crisis situations and poverty. We work with more than 400 agency partners throughout eight Denver Metro counties [Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Denver, Douglas, Jefferson and Weld] to identify children and families in the most need of our services. Our core initiatives help build the whole child. In addition to meeting basic human needs through our Resource Center and Boutiques (satellite resource centers), we also help children and their families navigate community resources. This work is done through our COR (Child Outcomes Resource) Center where our Child Outcomes Advocates provide personalized case management to disadvantaged and displaced children and families, connecting them with needed resources, services, opportunities and educational support. VIBHA's vision is to ensure that every underprivileged child attains his, or her right to health, education and opportunity - VIBHA educates, enables and empowers, individuals and companies, which wish to make a positive impact on the lives of under-privileged children - VIBHA brings together the combined skills and actions of volunteers, donors, social entrepreneurs and NGOs to a common platform to find sustainable solutions to the problems faced by underprivileged children.

Tens of thousands of volunteers, donors and supporters advance the Make-A-Wish® vision to grant the wish of every eligible child diagnosed with a critical illness. In the United States and it's territories, on average, a wish is granted every 34 minutes. We believe a wish experience can be a game-changer. This one belief guides us and inspires us to grant wishes that change the lives of the kids we serve.

Promises2Kids’ mission is to create a brighter future for foster children. From the moment they come into foster care and through to adulthood, Promises2Kids provides the hope, support, and opportunities these individuals need to change their lives for the better - now and for years to come.

Our mission is to provide a community of healing, hope, and light throughout the life-long journey of childhood cancer. We advocate, we educate, we build partnerships, and we foster solidarity for all families experiencing cancer.Candlelighters provides support for families every step of the way from diagnosis through treatment, providing programs such as emergency financial assistance, an annual family camp, family activities, bereavement support, and a meal program that offers comfort and support for families during a difficult journey. Through it all, we never charge families a dime – ever!​

JOYRIDE, A CAR CLUB EXCLUSIVELY FOR KIDS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS, PROVIDES EVENTS FOR ITS MEMBERS AND FAMILY AS A WAY TO MAKE NEW FRIENDS, NETWORK AND BUILD A SENSE OF BELONGING.

Women's Global Education Project (WGEP) believes that universal education, gender equality and empowerment of women are critical to a society's development. Our mission is to empower women and girls in rural regions of Sub-Saharan Africa through education to build better lives and foster more equitable communities

Smile Train is an international children’s charity with a sustainable approach to a single, solvable problem: cleft lip and palate. Millions of children in developing countries with unrepaired clefts live in shame, but more importantly, have difficulty eating, breathing and speaking. Cleft repair surgery is simple, and the transformation is immediate. Our sustainable model provides training and funding to empower local doctors in 85+ developing countries to provide 100%-free cleft repair surgery in their communities. We use the “teach a man to fish” model focusing on training local doctors to perform cleft repairs in their communities. Those doctors then go on to train other doctors creating a long-term, sustainable system. Patients see their smile for the first time, parents cry tears of joy, lives and communities are changed forever. As a result of our efficiency and with the support of our donors and partners around the world, Smile Train has transformed the lives of more than one million children by giving them the power of a smile -- that's roughly 350 surgeries a day and 128,000+ every year.  

Donating to Kidsave gives older, forgotten orphans and foster kids a chance at finding a family. These kids are often hidden from view with little or no opportunity to meet people who might adopt or mentor them. Thanks to George and Kathryn Hicker every unrestricted gift – whether it’s a monthly sponsorship, tribute ad or straight donation will be matched up to $100,000. Kidsave advocates for permanent, safe and stable families for all children and gives kids growing up in foster care and orphanages summer or weekend visits with host families who get to know the child and team with Kidsave to help that child find a family. When people meet these remarkable children the vast majority of children are adopted or connected with a committed mentor.

Musicians On Call, a nonprofit organization formed in 1999, uses music and entertainment to promote and complement the healing process for patients in the interest of improving their quality of life and creating a better living and healing environment. Additionally, Musicians On Call seeks to raise awareness of the beneficial effects of music and entertainment for people in healthcare facilities.
