The mission of Cross-Lines is to provide people in the Kansas City area affected by poverty with services and opportunities that encourage self-confidence, meet the needs of today, and provide the tools for future self-sufficiency.  Cross-Lines was established in 1963 as "a place of hope" for those struggling with the hardships of poverty. We are a safety net for our community. We provide direct assistance to at-risk families, the elderly, and single individuals struggling to make ends meet. Cross-Lines was built on a simple idea - that poverty borne problems could be answered best by looking to the community for solutions and working together to tackle them.  For more than 50 years Cross-Lines Community Outreach, supported by a network of businesses, churches and individuals, has provided a daily safety net of services for at-risk families, the elderly and individuals. Cross-Lines has three main program areas:Hunger ReliefHousing StabilizationBasic Needs As a snapshot of Cross-Lines programs, here are just some of our service statistics from 2018:68,968 meals were served in the Community Kitchen8,997 individuals received emergency groceries through our Healthy Choices Food Pantry25 individuals including 8 children who were homeless were moved into permanent housing208 individuals received rent assistance to help them remain housed644 individuals received utility assistance14,993 low-income seniors received a box of food commodities1,076 individuals received a Hope Tote filled with toiletries and cleaning items1,200 individuals were able to get free clothing from our Thrift Store508 individuals were able to access more than $167,000 in medical assistance through the Kansas City Medicine Cabinet

It is the mission of Holy Cross Education Foundation to provide funding and administrative assistance to schools that strive to provide the highest quality primary education to children in disadvantage areas. We seek to effectively help prepare students for the challenges of life in the 21st century - spiritually, mentally, morally, emotionally and physically by providing a state-of-the-art educational environment.

The Mission of Native American LifeLines is to promote health and social resiliency within Urban American Indian communities. Native American LifeLines applies principles of trauma informed care to provide culturally centered behavioral health, dental, outreach and referral services.

South American Initiative is currently addressing the political, health and social crisis in Venezuela by stepping up its efforts to aid and feed starving children and adults across Venezuela and other countries in South America.

The Indo American Center (IAC) addresses the needs of South Asian immigrants as well as people from more than thirty nations over the world. IAC provides services that facilitate their adjustment, integration, and friendship with the wider society, nurture their sense of community, and foster appreciation for the diversity of culture and heritage.

AHF was founded over 30 years ago to help people in the Himalaya who were in need and had no one else, and that principle still guides us every day. What we do is basic: we make change - positive, tangible change - happen. We build and support schools and students; train doctors and fund hospitals; care for children and elders; plant trees and restore sacred sites. We help Tibetans rebuild and sustain their culture both in exile and in Tibet.

The mission of the Latin American Community Center is to empower the Latino community through education, advocacy, partnerships and exceptional services. The agency vision is to eliminate the achievement gap for Latinos in Delaware.

SAAF Mission Statement: Our purpose is to promote the betterment of the lives African Americans. We fulfill our mission by offering workshops, programs and outreach campaigns. We emphasize biblical teachings and God's Plan for our lives. Although our services are open to everyone, basically our programs are designed for African Americans. Why? Statistics show that African Americans are more at risk than any other culture group in this country in every major category of life. Whether its health, divorce rate, out of wedlock births, poverty or single headed households, African Americans are well below the national averages. A large number of African Americans profess to be practicing Christians, and are passionate about their faith. Saving African American Families is committed to calling our culture back to blending our faith into our family life, marriage, health as well as everyday living. Established as a 501C3 corporation in 2002, IRC has strategically incorporated first-world resources, business practices, and efficiency with compassion and focus. The result has been to provide necessary and needed relief directly to the people who lack life's essential conveniences. Driven to satisfy the complete spectrum of the individual, IRC is dedicated to facilitating the spiritual, educational, physical, and the community needs of the person. As such, IRC directs projects geared toward the revitalization of the whole person and whole community.
