As a global network of centers who share a common vision, we actively collaborate with our centers and partners across Asia and the world. The Asia Society also provides its members an opportunity to become part of our global network to help shape a prosperous, sustainable, and secure future for us all. Established in Los Angeles in 1985, Asia Society Southern California (ASSC) is ideally situated at the gateway to the Asia-Pacific region. ASSC has played a pivotal role through creative programs and activities in increasing shared knowledge, enhancing dialogue and furthering cultural exchanges transcending regional boundaries.

The America-Israel Friendship League (AIFL) has been building and mobilizing grassroots support for Israel and strengthening the relationship between the two countries through people-to-people activities for 50 years. By sending Leadership Delegations to Israel, conducting outreach to program alumni and other interested parties, engaging in Pastor/ Educator Seminars, and hosting an annual Youth Ambassador Student Exchange (YASE), AIFL continues the vision of its founders. These leaders sought to promote a strong and enduring friendship and cooperative bond between Americans and Israelis of all ages, faiths, ethnic backgrounds and political orientations. Mission Statement Beyond making friends, our mission is aimed towards increasing Americans’ understanding of the contemporary Israel story – its entrepreneurship, culture, medical research, environmental protection initiatives, and so much more. This is a story unknown to most Americans because the media almost always presents Israel principally through the lens of the Israeli- Palestinian conflict. Broadening that lens is critical to building greater support for Israel.

The mission of the Tandana Foundation is to empower individuals of various cultural backgrounds with an increased awareness of the world, other cultures, and themselves, and with an expanded sense of their possibilities; promote positive, caring interactions between people of different backgrounds and encourage consideration and lessening of global inequalities; and promote respect and responsibility toward one's self, all people, and the Earth.

IREX is an international nonprofit organization providing thought leadership and innovative programs to promote positive lasting change globally. We enable local individuals and institutions to build key elements of a vibrant society: quality education, independent media, and strong communities. Mujeres is a bilingual/bicultural agency seeking to empower Latinas, their families and youth to become self reliant, to take full advantage of available opportunities, and to create new opportunities to improve the quality of their lives. 

Our Mission is to help immigrants overcome language, cultural and economic barriers, and integrate into the American way of life while maintaining their ethnic identity and pride.

EERC mission is to facilitate communication and forge friendships between students from Romania and USA. We believe that exposure to other cultures is invaluable in shaping the younger generation views of the world and of their own potential in positive and enduring ways. We create opportunity for middle school students from Romania to experience American life by attending overnight camps or living with a local family while attending local day camps. This experience opens further opportunities for them to pursue when they return home. Equally important is to present these vibrant young people as ambassadors of the Romanian culture. In our experience, the Americans whose lives they touch find these interactions enriching and gain new insights about other cultures. These shared experiences produce benefits to both sides that extend long beyond the immediate experience, even to subsequent interactions that occur beyond our program. We select students who demonstrate the intellectual and emotional maturity to benefit from this unique opportunity. They are boys and girls from various areas of Romania who are fluent in English and who demonstrate strong academic and personal characteristics. With our help, this rising generation will be engaging in a world without borders. We bring the world closer to home.

The Irish International Immigrant Center assists immigrants from Ireland and from around the world as they integrate into American society, and with partner organizations, promotes reconciliation in Ireland. We are a vibrant welcome center that provides legal, wellness and education services, advocates for systemic change, and facilitates cross-cultural community building. Our vision is of a shared society where all people are welcomed and valued and enjoy equal opportunities, and protections.

WorldTeach partners with governments and other organizations in developing countries to provide volunteer teachers to meet local needs and promote responsible global citizenship.

The Connecticut Institute for Refugees and Immigrants (CIRI) is a statewide nonprofit organization that assists refugees and immigrants resolve legal, economic, linguistic and social barriers so that they become self-sufficient, integrated and contributing members of the community. CIRI achieves this mission by providing a compassionate array of high-quality legal, social and educational programming and by promoting cross-cultural understanding and decent treatment for all.

OneVoice is an international grassroots movement that amplifies the voice of mainstream Israelis and Palestinians, empowering them to propel their elected representatives toward the two-state solution. The Movement works to forge consensus for conflict resolution and build a human infrastructure capable of mobilizing the people toward a negotiated, comprehensive and permanent agreement between Israel and Palestine that ends the occupation, ensures security and peace for both sides, and solves all final-status issues in accordance with international law and previous bilateral agreements. The 1967 borders form the basis for the establishment of an independent, viable Palestinian state, with permanent borders and any modifications to be agreed upon by both parties. The Movement recognizes that violence by either side will never be a means to end the conflict.
