Established in 1946, Jewish Family Service of Tidewater (JFS) has had a long-standing tradition of caring and concern for the community it serves. JFS is not a religious organization: we are a non-profit social services agency that serves ALL people throughout the Commonwealth. Our commitment to preserving the well-being of every person, regardless of race, religion, or financial circumstance is upheld by highly committed and caring staff, volunteers, and Board of Directors. JFS provides an array of services to help meet the needs of our most vulnerable neighbors. Our programs help feed the hungry, support people who are struggling financially, provide emotional and physical recovery, and provide guardianship and conservatorship services to hundreds of people each year.

Prachar – Raise Awareness Promote Unity amongst Hindus through a network of Parishad chapters and like-minded organizations. Represent Hindu Interest through various forums. Raise Hindu Awareness through seminars, conferences, publications, media, audio-visual aids Seva – Serve the Community Provide Community Service to people in distress or need without consideration of race, religion or nationality. Build a Team of Parishad members for community service through a strong portfolio of programs and projects. Samskar – Cultivate Hindu Values Cultivate a spirit of self respect for our way of life, their environment, their Dharma Gurus and institutions and respect for the people of all colors, creeds, races and religions. Create opportunities for imbibing Hindu Values, Hindu Scriptures and Hindu Heritage through Bal Vihars, Camps, Family Retreats, Hindu Community Centers and Educational Institutions. Sampark – Network Establish Worldwide Contacts with Hindus institutions, temples and people through projects and programs focusing on Hindu interests. Bridge communities and people of all faith. Raise Funds for Parishad Mission.

The mission of FBF is to promote good will, cross-cultural understanding and friendship between the people of the United States and Burkina Faso; to support grass-roots development projects in Burkina Faso; and to enrich lives of the citizens in both countries. Its Projects Committee serves as a vehicle to facilitate the organization's support of development activities. The Committee evaluates proposals, selects projects, monitors activities, and informs members about project developments.

IRC SUPPORTS, PROMOTES AND COORDINATES CITIZEN-BASED INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS WITH THE GREATER RIVERSIDE AREA. IRC ACHEIVES ITS INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS OBJECTIVES THROUGH CULTURAL, EDUCATIONAL, DIPLOMATIC AND ECONOMIC PARTNERSHIPS. IRC HAS ESTABLISHED, COORDINATES, AND MAINTAINS AFFILIATIONS WITH OFFICAL SISTER CITIES AUTHORIZED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA.

The Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota's mission is to provide high-quality immigration legal services to meet the steadily-growing needs of Minnesota's low-income immigrant and refugee communities.   ILCM's goals in support of its mission are to: Remedy legal problems by providing quality immigration legal services to low-income immigrants and refugees of all nationalities; Prevent legal problems by providing law-related education to immigrants and refugees of all nationalities; and Raise public awareness of immigration issues so as to encourage sound public policy that protects the universal human rights of immigrants and is both compassionate and practical.
