Daraja is a secondary boarding school established for Kenyan girls with top academic scores and exceptional leadership skills but no means of continuing their education. Beyond a full scholarship and academic rigor, the academy provides shelter, food, healthcare and counseling services so students may focus on their academic and personal potential without the everyday barriers they would otherwise face. Our groundbreaking educational model has generated a community of students filled with intellectual curiosity and a hunger to learn.

Founded in April, 2016, VELA Youth Fund, Inc. is dedicated to improving the present and future lives for as many African American, African, and Caribbean Children as we can, by supporting their spiritual, health, educational and financial needs to the greatest extent feasible. The Fund for American Studies

The Fund for American Studies has been educating young leaders on the values of freedom, democracy and free-market economies since 1967. Eleven institutes around the world bring college students together for educational programs engaging them in a rigorous examination of economic concepts, political systems, and moral philosophy. Our goal is to prepare young people for honorable leadership by educating them in the theory, practice, and benefits of a free society.

The Seventh Generation Fund for Indigenous Peoples is a Native non-profit organization dedicated to Indigenous Peoples' self-determination and the sovereignty of Native nations. They offer an integrated program of advocacy, small grants, training and technical assistance, media experience and fiscal management, lending our support and extensive expertise to Indigenous grassroots communities.

Playing For Change Foundation

In 2007, the Playing for Change Foundation was established as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization created to inspire, connect, and bring peace to the world through music. Our mission is to create positive change through music and arts education. 15 music programs have been created in Bangladesh, Brazil, Ghana, Mali, Nepal, Rwanda, South Africa, Morocco, Mexico, Argentina and Thailand. More than 2,000 young people attend free classes in dance, instruments, languages and musical theory, all taught by qualified local teachers. Learning music has been shown to increase self-esteem and foster resilience, which is critically important to children who are vulnerable due to poverty, conflict, drugs, and neglect.
