Arm In Arm (formerly The Crisis Ministry of Mercer County) was founded in 1980 by the leaders of Nassau Presbyterian Church and Trinity Church as a grassroots, community response to the economic recession of the time. Our mission is “Partnering with the community to achieve stability for our neighbors in need." We serve low-income individuals and families in every Mercer County municipality through Housing Stability and Homelessness Prevention, Hunger Prevention and Nutrition Education, and Employment Readiness including Driver's License Assistance.

Youth With Faces gives youth in the juvenile justice system a second chance to be more than a faceless statistic. We all know making poor choices is part of growing up. But for incarcerated youth, the poverty and dysfunction that led to their mistakes create a cycle of crime difficult for any teen to overcome alone. This is why we are here, every day without fail, with respect, accountability and belief in their potential. We help Dallas County youth change doing time into a time to learn and practice critical character lessons and work skills. As a result, they significantly reduce their chances of returning to custody and can build a new identity – as a capable young person with a contribution to make.

The Mission Create living-wage jobs, while establishing Haitian owned and operated small businesses, through the production of affordable charcoal using environmentally sustainable biomass and a financially sustainable business model and to work with other NGO's and organization to serve Haiti's poorest families. Vision Provide an environment that enables and encourages right-relationships with God, other people, and God's creation. To promote collaboration and networking with businesses and organizations working in Haiti and in alternative energy projects throughout the Caribbean. To use these relationships to support self-sufficient businesses throughout Haiti which provide services to people of every economic status and develop educated, capable professionals from within the local community. To increase the awareness of the plight of Haitian people through service and immersion projects and mission trips. Collaborate with businesses and organizations working in Haiti and throughout the Caribbean adding value to the joint effort via our renewable energy technology and methods. Facilitate the creation and growth of truly sustainable businesses in Haiti and the Caribbean. JoyRoo Education Academy is committed to providing transition housing, excellent academic, vocational, independant living skills, mentoring and leadership training to Emancipated (aged out) Foster Care Young Adults between the ages of 18 and 28 years old.

1. Sustain and promote the growth of the manufacturing labor force within the United States of America. 2. Help people of all ages to launch their own entrepreneurial manufacturing businesses. 3. Partner with unions to reinvent their role in assisting with job creation. 4. Campaign large manufacturing corporations to maintain a foothold in the USA. 5. Create an online information resource center to assist new manufacturing entrepreneurs and organizations. 6. Raise funds that will be dedicated to furtherance of these goals

FCDE leverages the knowledge, funds and direct personal support of global donors to empower communities to maximize economic, social and environmental opportunities, thereby reducing poverty and injustice.FCDE works to identify impoverished regions that have the drive, desire and basic tools to make positive, lasting change within their communities. By providing technical training, appropriate short-term personnel and seed funds, FCDE will becomes a partner and catalyst in making long-term positive changes within our host communities.

The Whispering Seed is a village based Home for Children and Sustainable Living and Learning Centre working in Myanmar and Thailand since 2004. We are a US registered 501 C3, tax-exempt charitable organization striving to bridge the traditions of sustainability and holistic education through innovative programs, trainings and design, drawing on the richness of local wisdom and traditional cultures along with renewed, socially appropriate models. With a pioneering spirit, Whispering Seed strives to support and build partnerships and collaborations between local groups within Myanmar and South and Southeast Asia, as well as with the international community. By supporting the diversity of cultures and richness of traditional wisdom within Myanmar along with the integration of new models for learning and sustainable development we are searching for creative solutions to the variety of challenges which Myanmar will face throughout the next critical years of development. WS is focused on five critical areas of development. With a holistic and integrated approach we aim to support the growth and development of a new society which is representative of the rich diversity of peoples and cultures of Myanmar.
