The mission of the Tompkins County Workers’ Center is to stand up with all people treated unfairly at work. We will support, advocate for, and seek to empower each other to create a more just community and world.

WomensTrust empowers impoverished women and girls with the tools they need to break the cycle of poverty and build a better future for themselves, their families and communities, and the world. We do this by providing access to education, healthcare and economic development.

The Pureland Project's purpose is to support and encourage sustainable living rooted in human-nature connection. We provide sustainability and wellness education and resources to communities, promoting indigenous wisdom of conscious, connected living around the world.

Through immersive learning, real-world work experience, and a network of supportive professional mentors, ManifestWorks connects those impacted by foster care, homelessness and incarceration with job opportunities and provides the life and professional skills for long-term success.

Freedom Global exists to display Christ’s love by creating sustainable solutions to alleviate poverty in the developing world through social business, education, and discipleship. Our goal is to create a sustainable development model that meets physical needs and opens the door for Christian discipleship for adults and youth.

The Advocacy Project - A Voice for the Voiceless The Advocacy Project (AP) helps marginalized communities around the world take action against the root causes of their disempowerment in a way that benefits society as a whole and produces social change. To do this, we partner with community-based advocates who represent these communities and share their problems. Our support for partners is innovative and effective. First, we deploy Peace Fellows (experienced graduate students) to help partners tell their story, launch campaigns, and strengthen their organization: we have deployed 274 Peace Fellows since 2003, and in the process given our Fellows a unique experience. Second, we help partners to raise funds and manage their campaigns: we have raised over $2.5 million for partners, and are currently seeking funds through Global Giving for exciting projects in Nepal, Vietnam and Uganda. Third, we promote the work of partners internationally, using new methods of story-telling such as advocacy quilting: over 300 women have produced embroidered panels for our quilts, which have been shown throughout North America and Europe. Our Mission is: To turn back the tide of the global AIDS epidemic through innovative community responses that increase the effectiveness of prevention and care efforts. Our Vision is: A world where the AIDS epidemic is in continuous retreat, and people living with HIV/AIDS have access to loving care and treatment in an environment free of stigma and discrimination.

(LLK) Leben und Lernen in Kenya e.V. (also registered in Kenya as Live and Learn in Kenya Int'l as our daughter organization) provides funds to send needy children to school with everything necessary.

The Capital Network is a non-profit (501c3) organization that provides practical, hands-on education and personalized mentoring to help early stage entrepreneurs master the entire funding process and successfully raise seed capital & beyond.

Pay Our Interns is bipartisan, non-profit organization that advocates for an increase in the amount of paid internships within our government, for-profit, and nonprofit sector. POI serves as a research platform, advocacy guide, and internship database for students across the country. Paid internships should be available to all students in every sector, whether private or public. A student's socioeconomic status should not be a barrier to getting real- world work experience.

GWENS strives to empower and support all women but primarily women in crisis. We host fundraising events to raise both funds and awareness while we network and socialize with each other -- in an all female setting -- where we can focus on our unique needs.

The International American Relief Society, ''IARS'' is dedicated to saving lives and relieving suffering through relief and development programs. The IARS focuses on alleviating poverty in the USA and in the World, wherever appropriate humanitarian response may be needed. In other words, the IARS' humanitarian-driven mission is to help individuals and families affected by forced migration and/or poverty. Helping to rebuild their lives, restore a sense of dignity, and fully participate in their communities by providing compassionate support, resources, and programs tailored to their unique needs.
