Maryland Community Connection

The mission of Maryland Community Connection is primarily to establish, operate, and maintain services in the community for individuals with developmental disabilities. Through trained, qualified, and fairly compensated staff, Maryland Community Connection services will assist each person to achieve a greater degree of social and economic independence and reduce the need for subsidized lifestyles. Maryland Community Connection policy requires that these services be provided to eligible Maryland participants without regard to race, color, creed, national origin, gender, or marital status.

Kamileon’s Kloset Professional Development, Inc. is an Atlanta-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to transform lives by promoting the economic independence of disadvantaged men and women seeking employment. We help each client transition into the workforce by providing professional attire, full-service image makeovers, and employment training. This program enhances the employment potential of each client, effecting a significant reduction in poverty, while underscoring the intrinsic dignity of each individual advancing into the workplace.

The WOW Center

The mission of the Community Habilitation Center is to improve the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities by providing specialized training, activities, and experiences that empower them. CHC is focused on helping individuals become independent, active, employed, and socially responsible members of the community. CHC provides life and work skills training, a computer lab, art program and ceramics, fitness classes, daily fieldtrips out into the community, and a music therapy program. All activities are designed to reinforce pre-selected goals chosen by the individuals and increase their independence and understanding of their role within the community.

Bridge House is on a mission to end homelessness - one person at a time. We offer adults experiencing homelessness a continuum of programming, called the Bridge of Opportunity, spanning from low barrier basic needs services to robust programs with access to paid work, housing and support services. The goal of all Bridge House’s core programs is to meet adults experiencing homelessness where they are and offer them opportunities to transform their lives. We offer each client customized opportunities to help them transition as quickly as possible out of homelessness.

TLC-The Treatment and Learning Centers, Inc.

Since 1950, TLC-The Treatment and Learning Centers has been serving children and adults with special needs in the greater Washington, DC area through diagnostic, therapeutic, educational, and employment programs that meet the growing and changing needs of our community. Dress For Success Worcester

The mission of Dress for Success Worcester is “to empower women to achieve economic independence by providing the network of support, the professional attire and the tools to help women thrive in their work and in their life.” We provide a continuum of educational programs and support services as well as professional apparel year-round to women throughout Central Massachusetts. These services create a successful transition into the workforce and support ongoing progress towards self-sufficiency and economic independence.
