The Appropriate Technology Collaborative creates sustainable technologies that promote economic growth and improve the quality of life for low income people worldwide. We design, develop, demonstrate, and distribute affordable technologies. Working in collaboration with local talent and other nonprofits (NGOs) we create solutions that are culturally sensitive, environmentally responsible and locally repairable in order to improve the quality of life and reduce adverse impacts on the environment.

THE FAMILY FOOTPRINT PARTNERS WITH FAMILIES TO PROVIDE PATHWAYS OUT OF POVERTY. TARGETED PROGRAMMING FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY HELPS TO REDUCE THE IMPACTS OF POVERTY AND ENSURES FAMILIES HAVE THE TOOLS TO SUCCEED.

Founded in 2008, The Encouraging Place creates environments of support and encouragement for women, families & the community. We do so through our summer camp for women, the creative arts ministry, the Pride for Parents Christmas Store and Safehouse (a safe place for conversations & forums for the purpose of racial understanding, equality and reconciliation).

The advanced training program at Hire Level Ministry is focused on the individual attainment of sustainable wage employment. Upon successful completion of our program, participants have the opportunity to qualify for continued education scholarship funding. These scholarships are used to train for lifetime vocations. The program at hire level ministry includes wellness, computer skills, and leadership topics that are taught one night a week for 6 months. Additionally, the youth program runs simultaneously and covers the same topics. Any youth, kindergarten or older, living with an adult participant is welcome to join the youth program.

In Gear Career is a nonprofit who believes passionately that “sacrifice” doesn’t have to mean giving up your career. We are here to help you navigate the unique realities faced by the career-minded military spouse.

Formerly known as Forty Plus of Central Ohio, we are a member and volunteer-operated 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers training at nominal cost for professional job seekers of all ages. Thousands of Central Ohioans have benefited from membership since our founding in Columbus in 1982. Diversity Cyber Council is a 501c3 Non-Profit that serves under-represented demographics in the tech industry by facilitating education, training, and staffing opportunities to establish a sustainable and diverse talent pipeline to the workforce.

The IGDA Foundation focuses on improving the lives of game developers by making game development a more diverse and inclusive community. We want every person on the planet to love playing games, and we think the best way to make that happen is to have a game development community that is inclusive of, and welcoming to, every person who wants to make games. We believe that diversity of all kinds in game development leads to better and more successful products and companies, and happier and more successful game developers.
