THE ORGANIZATION WILL PROVIDE JOB TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES TO INDIVIDUALS WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES (IDD) IN THE FARMING INDUSTRY, WHILE RAISING AWARENESS OF THE CONTRIBUTIONS THAT CAN BE MADE BY IDD, CONNECTING THE COMMUNITY WITH IDD, AND EDUCATING THE COMMUNITY ABOUT CHEMICAL-FREE FARMING AND THE BENEFITS OF EATING RESPONSIBLY-GROWN PRODUCE.

Hope Renovations

We inspire hope in women and older adults for a joyful and fulfilling future. We do this by teaching women the skills they need to earn living-wage careers in the construction trades, and by providing hands-on training through our repair and renovation work for older adults who want to safely and comfortably age-in-place in their own homes.

Power of Love Foundation

Our Mission is: To turn back the tide of the global AIDS epidemic through innovative community responses that increase the effectiveness of prevention and care efforts. Our Vision is: A world where the AIDS epidemic is in continuous retreat, and people living with HIV/AIDS have access to loving care and treatment in an environment free of stigma and discrimination.

Project Have Hope

Project Have Hope works with a group of 100 women in the Acholi Quarter of Uganda and helps them transform their lives and the lives of their families. Through the sale of their beautiful hand-crafted goods, as well as through our adult literacy, vocational training, and children' education programs, the women can feed their families, send their children to school, and look forward to a richer future.

Justice Rising International

We believe that education is the most powerful tool to build peace and to break the cycle of war. We also believe that every child, regardless of circumstance, should have access to a quality education.Justice Rising builds peace in war-affected communities by providing quality education to children at risk. We build schools, train teacher leaders, and develop community programs towards the goal of promoting peace and mitigating future conflict.

Project You / NYC Community Services

Project You believes that everyone deserves the opportunity to become self-sufficient and financially stable. We provide vocational training, job placement and resource assistance to homeless and low-income women and men, many of whom are immigrants, in New York City. Through our highly successful programs, we empower some of the city’s most vulnerable people to get out of poverty, and begin building a path toward a sustainable future for themselves and their families.

American Friends of Un Techo para mi Pais (UTPMP)

VISION: A fair and poverty free society, where everyone has the opportunities needed to develop their capacities and fully exercise their rights MISSION: Work Tirelessly to overcome extreme poverty in slums, through training and joint action of families and youth volunteers. Furthermore, to promote community development, denouncing the situation in which the most excluded communities live. And lastly, to advocate for social policies with other actors in society. VALUES: Solidarity. It is an empathy with the most excluded families, which moves us to want to be and work alongside with them. Sharing their hardships and desires, to learn from their skills and perseverance, and to advocate against everything that excludes them and that does not recognize their rights as human beings. Conviction. To overcome poverty and injustice in our continent is possible. This certainty gives us the determination to work tirelessly and together with others to accomplish it. Placing challenging and high goals, as well as taking the necessary risks to go beyond all the fatalisms that surround us. Excellence. Naledge In Action (NIA) is a Georgia nonprofit talent solution company that helps student leaders (ages 16-24) define a purpose-driven career pathway by developing their Social and Emotional Intelligence, workplace soft skills and providing opportunities to hone their skills through internships. NIA’s mission is to cultivate a pipeline of Top Talent Millennials to meet the current and future employment and entrepreneurial needs of business and industry in order for America to maintain its competitive economic edge.

Borromeo Housing Inc

The mission of Borromeo Housing, Inc. (BHI) is to empower young single mothers to create a self-sustaining future through education, counseling and support, while they reside in our safe home. BHI closely monitors the infants of our young mothers to ensure the children are parented responsibly, receive appropriate medical care, and meet individual developmental benchmarks. In this way, BHI is determined to present two generations of at-risk youth with alternatives to the perils of neglect, poor education, and inter-generational poverty.
