We enrich the lives of seniors, and assist them in maintaining independence, by providing nutritious food, human connections and social support. We also use our expertise and capacity to serve other nutritionally at-risk populations.

Outreach Farm

Our mission is to provide protein to organizations that feed the hungry and to feed God's people. The Outreach Farm is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with a rich history of raising beef cattle. As technology advanced and times changed, so has "The Farm". The Farm now solely relies on donations, fundraising and community events to provide the necessary funding to purchase high-quality protein at steep discounts and give it all away (for free!) to 15+ non-profit organizations along the Grand Strand that feed the hungry.

Nest Community Learning Center

NEST (Nutrition, Education, Safety, Transformation) Community Learning Center (CLC) was founded in March 2016 with the mission to address academic and non-academic barriers that perpetuate the cycle of generational poverty in suburban communities. NEST CLC provides sound Nutrition and targeted Education in a Safe neighborhood environment to Transform the outcome of at-risk school-age children. Through its innovative mobile classroom, NEST delivers free, workable, proven programs and strategies to the suburban poor in their own “backyard” affording those it serves a fighting chance to change their futures.

ALAMEDA BACKYARD GROWERS INC

Your financial gifts as well as of your time (shout out to our volunteers) help ABG offer our programs – monthly educational gardening meetings (now on-line due to COVID-19 distancing requirements), our eNewsletter, started in April 2020 to provide victory gardening information for Alameda’s vegetable and fruit growers, our active and popular Project Pick program and our Free Seed Libraries. Through these and other initiatives we help address climate change, food scarcity and build community in Alameda.

Society Of St. Vincent De Paul Diocesan Council Of Dallas

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a faith-based volunteer organization that offers direct aid to those in need across nine counties in North Texas. The Society provides short-term financial, material and emotional support. People are empowered to reach the goal of self-sufficiency through advocacy, education and referrals. Inspired by Gospel values, members grow spiritually through person-to-person service to all in need. Through systemic change, the Society promotes dignity, alleviates suffering and distress, and addresses the conditions that cause the person to need assistance.

Short Term Emergency Aid Committee

The mission STEAC is to provide immediate short-term assistance with basic necessities to Yolo County families and individuals with incomes below the poverty level. STEAC is committed to enlarging the social awareness of the community and providing opportunities for local citizens to help others in need.
