The mission of the Edible Schoolyard Project is to build andshare an edible education curriculum for kindergarten through high school. Ourvision is for gardens and kitchens to become interactive classrooms foracademic subjects, and for every student to have a free, nutritious, organiclunch. If this program is integrated into schools, the curriculum couldtransform the health and values of every child in America.

Our mission: "to help alleviate hunger in San Francisco by providing businesses with the service of picking up their excess, nutritional food and delivering it to the shelters and neighborhood food programs. By doing this we hope to provide a network of information to all working to relieve hunger and to raise the consciousness of all in our community not to discard food."

Growing Gardens’ mission is to reduce hunger and transform lives through the experience of gardening and growing your own food. We have been working in Oregon for over 20 years. We work with thousands of volunteers to build organic vegetable gardens at homes, schools, and correctional facilities. Our work changes lives.

Founded in 1946, RCS's mission is to feed the hungry, help families facing homelessness return to self-sufficiency, and empower survivors of domestic violence. We do this in Pinellas County, Florida through RCS Food Bank, RCS Grace House (for homeless families), and The Haven at RCS (for women and children facing domestic abuse)

Crisis Control Ministry was founded in Winston-Salem, N.C. in 1972. Our mission is to assist people in crisis to meet essential life needs and to become self sufficient. Emergency assistance services provided include: help with rent/mortgage and utility payments, fill medication prescriptions, and offer a two week supply or nourishing food.
