Working with our many partners, Pioneer Valley Habitat for Humanity builds strength, stability and self-reliance through homeownership in Hampshire and Franklin counties. The Allendale Shelter Club is committed to supporting the Allendale Association’s mission of providing excellence and innovation in the care, treatment, education and advocacy for children and youth with serious emotional, mental health and behavioral challenges. The mission of the New Hope Family Shelter (NHFS) is to provide temporary shelter for homeless families in Bloomington and Monroe County and, in collaboration with other agencies, to help those families regain housing by addressing the problems that led to homelessness.

The underlying premise of Bean's Cafe is a deep belief in the inherent dignity of every person, a belief that people will respond with kindness when treated kindly, with trust when trusted, and respectfully when respected. Our aim is not to set up a value system - determining what is right or wrong - or a way of life for persons, but to allow them to form their own. In this situation a person is not acting in a special way, and their eventual response is free, lasting, and more fully themselves.
