We empower survivors of domestic violence and their children to believe in themselves and build new lives filled with dignity, respect, safety, and hope. Empowerhouse gives victims the time, space, and tools to heal their hearts, renew their spirits, restore their connections, and rebuild their lives. We break the cycle of domestic violence through shelter, housing, support, education, prevention, and intervention.Empowerhouse serves the Counties of Caroline, King George, Spotsylvania, Stafford and the City of Fredericksburg in Virginia.

Cornerstones

For nearly 50 years, Cornerstones has been helping neighbors in need overcome tough economic times in an already high cost-of-living region. The service area of Cornerstones has grown to include most of northwestern Fairfax County. Each of us can become a Cornerstone and continue our history of helping people build more stable lives by connecting them to vital resources that solve their needs for housing, childcare, food, or financial assistance.

Family Promise Of Tualatin Valley (FPTV)

Family Promise of Tualatin Valley (FPTV) is a non-profit organization that serves homeless children and their families. We are creating a network of religious and civic organizations that will provide shelter, meals, and resource assistance. Individual family plans are developed with our FPTV case manager to help families identify and connect with services specific to their needs with permanent housing being the priority. We believe that if a student can stay with their family, in their own school, in their own routine, in their own community, they – and their families – can succeed.

Hope House Of Milwaukee

It is the current mission of Hope House of Milwaukee, Inc. to end homelessness and create healthy communities within the city of Milwaukee. The agency seeks to achieve the following goals: Reduce emergency shelter recidivism of homeless single men, women, and families.  Increase the self-sufficiency of onsite guests through enhanced family functioning, sustained employment, and increased sobriety. Strengthen connections between Hope House and community residents through increased resident participation in services, programming, and events at the Hope House facility.

FULL GOSPEL FELLOWSHIP OF CHURCHES AND MINISTERS INTL INC - KELLER

The Anchor Foundation is a faith-based non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening and preserving relationships between children and their non-custodial parent during divorce. As an anchor on tumultuous seas, they serve as a transitional resource to children and parents addressing their spiritual, emotional and financial needs. They provide a range of essential services, based upon need, that help anchor fathers and children including setting up new bedrooms for children in their new home, connecting families with counseling services, and offering financial support to specifically ensure continuity of children’s activities.

Feet Forward Peer Supportive Services And Outreach

Feet Forward empowers unhoused individuals in Boulder County by removing barriers to services and meeting basic needs, such as food, clothing, and sustained peer-led advocacy and navigation. Feet Forward is unique to Boulder County in that our services are offered through expertise based on the lived experience of homelessness. We amplify the voices of those we serve and build collaborative supports throughout the community. Feet Forward uses direct street outreach and other channels to leverage, connect, and expand services and housing pathways for unhoused people.

Boys & Girls Aid Society of Oregon

We believe every child deserves a lifelong, permanent connection. We believe that people raise children, not systems. Through this belief, we have created our Promise of Permanency. For every child that enters a Boys & Girls Aid program, we promise to prepare youth for permanency, advocate on their behalf for permanency and help them find resources for their permanency. Permanency means a lifelong commitment between and with an adult and child. By providing each child with a permanent committed adult, they will receive the guidance, stability and emotional support needed to be a successful adult in their community.

Foothill Unity Center

Foothill Unity Center helps neighbors in crisis attain self-sufficiency by partnering with the community and using our resources wisely to provide vital support services with love and dignity. Foothill Unity Center envisions a community where *All have their basic needs met, including the need to give, *All get the necessary support to become self-sufficient, *All are treated with love and dignity ... all the time. The Center is a federally designated Community Action Agency, part of a network of 47 organizations in California and 1,100 in the country, that combat poverty. Our target population covers the Foothills portion of SPA 3, which includes Altadena, Arcadia, Azusa, Baldwin Park, Bradbury, Duarte, Irwindale, Monrovia, Pasadena, Sierra Madre, South Pasadena and Temple City.

The Giving Tree

The Giving Tree is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in Portland, Oregon providing enhanced resident service coordination to residents living in subsidized or affordable housing. We engage vulnerable populations in art, life skills development and recreation to reduce isolation, increase personal resilience and build healthier communities. We deliver programs in the apartment communities in which residents live, removing obstacles of transportation, encouraging neighbor to neighbor support and helping residents to learn, grow and thrive in a supportive environment. From community meals to creative workshops, from safety and wellness classes to individual budgeting assistance, The Giving Tree is dedicated to helping low and fixed income seniors, veterans, people with mental illnesses, physical limitations and developmental disabilities realize their fullest individual potential.

Lazarus House

Lazarus House's mission is to offer guests connected to St. Charles, Geneva, Batavia and western rural Kane County, Illinois, who are homeless or in need, hope for the future by providing hospitality, food, safe shelter, and education – tools for life. We strive to make certain that all who enter feel the love of Jesus. Goals are to: 1)help the homeless return to independent living with the skills and habits needed for long-term success and 2)offer services and referrals to help those in need in our community in order to prevent homelessness and support the well being of individuals and their families.
