Covenant House Georgia

At Covenant House Georgia (CHGA), we are much more than a shelter. We provide more than a bed and a meal for homeless and trafficked youth; we show unconditional love and give comprehensive support so that our youth can and will realize their fullest potential. In fact, seeing their potential is our greatest motivation. We are optimistic about the power of a stable, loving environment to inspire a fresh start in their lives. Looking beyond broken pasts, we know that each of our youth can have a bright future, and everything we do is in effort to have them know it, too.

Conard House

Our mission at Conard House is to create and maintain the transformative resources that people who live with chronic mental illness—and frequently concurrent medical conditions—need to self-manage their lives effectively. Each year, disabling psychiatric episodes shatter everyday reality for thousands of adults living in San Francisco. These events disrupt their ability to work, to express themselves clearly and even to eat or sleep. Negotiating the maze of healthcare bureaucracies to get the help they need can be beyond the capabilities of those who need help the most. We focus on building welcoming and caring communities that empower residents and give them hope for the future.

Episcopal Community Services - San Diego

Originally founded in 1927 by All Saints' Episcopal Church to provide social welfare programs for the poor, elderly, sick, and "those who might otherwise be forgotten", Episcopal Community Services (ECS) expanded its scope in 1954 to provide programs to address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of all San Diegans. ECS was incorporated in 1955 and obtained its first government contract with San Diego County to provide counseling and jobs for men released from prison. Today, ECS provides more than $27 million in health and human services in the areas of homelessness, mental health, poverty, addiction and early childhood education to more than 8,000 clients in San Diego. Operating under its mission of serving God by serving those in need through programs that foster hope, dignity, and independence, ECS inspires children, empowers adults and transforms communities by providing vital, high-quality social services that encourage healthy interdependence. Every client is served regardless of ethnic background, culture, gender, age, sexual orientation or religious creed. The overarching goal of ECS is to provide services that build a bridge to a brighter future.
