Since their inception, the Little Sisters have given quality care to over 1,000,000 aged poor. Today 2,900 Little Sisters serve in over 200 homes in 31 countries.

ALA was founded on the premise that all seniors, regardless of their race, sexual orientation, ethnicity, socio-economic background, or health status, deserve community support and real options to live an independent and productive life.
