St. Marys Center For Women And Children

St. Mary's Center for Women and Children offers innovative and family-centered programs for women and children who have experienced trauma and are living in poverty. Placing families at the center of our efforts, St. Mary's Center works in partnership with young women, many of them mothers, to break the intergenerational cycle of poverty and achieve lasting, powerful change by building their emotional well-being, educational achievements, and economic independence. Located in Uphams Corner in Dorchester, Massachusetts, St. Mary's Center supports 600 women and children annually with shelter, clinical and educational services, job training, employment placement, and search for affordable permanent housing.

Washtenaw Housing Alliance

The mission of the Washtenaw Housing Alliance is to end homelessness in our community.The root causes of homelessness include:poverty, including the loss of resources caused by substance abuse, physical illness and mental illness,violence, including domestic and sexual violence usually directed against women and children,racism and other institutionalized prejudices, and class privilege and discriminatory patterns of economic and social investment.Any strategies to end, or even to minimize homelessness, must be designed with these root causes in mind.In order to end homelessness, it is imperative that all members of the community, individuals, institutions, and government participate in the effort. The Washtenaw Housing Alliance models this community partnership by consisting of a wide range of organizations dedicated to helping people who are homeless and those who are in danger of losing their housing. We will work to fulfill our mission through collaboration and partnerships that address root causes of homelessness, and by making needed systemic changes that will sustain over time. Every person who is homeless or at risk of homelessness will be provided with alternatives for shelter, housing and services, including those who are vulnerable and difficult to serve.Helping persons who are homeless must include: Provision of basic necessities, including food, clothing and medical care Development and maintenance of accessible and responsive options for emergency shelter, transitional housing and permanent housing Promotion of individual autonomy through development of education and employment opportunities, debt reduction and credit assistance, literacy programs, transportation and childcare Support services to keep individuals and families in housing

Living Hope International

To provide for the emotional, physical, educational, and social needs of at-risk children, youth, and families, as well as to equip, support, and send leaders to provide similar services throughout the world. To accomplish these goals, LHI receives financial and service support from individuals, churches, businesses, and foundations throughout the United States and other countries.

Caiden's Hope

We believe that parental care is essential to the development of premature infants. ​ We are striving to increase each NICU parent's ability to care personally for their precious newborn by partnering with hospital social services departments nationwide to provide travel expenses for NICU families. ​ In the past we have helped by offering: ​ Prepaid Gas Cards Rail and Bus Tickets Assistance with airfare Assistance with lodging fees Assistance with meal fees ​ Every family situation is unique which is why we ask that you contact your hospital social worker. They will help you determine the possible expenses you will have during your baby's stay in the NICU. They will be able to reach out to CHF on your behalf & we will take it from there!
