The mission of the Community Action Agency of Somerville (CAAS) is to reduce poverty among local families and individuals while working to counteract - and whenever possible, eliminate - the societal conditions that cause and perpetuate poverty.

The Lowell Transitional Living Center provides the most vulnerable adults in the community with food, shelter, stability and dignity. We provide programs and services that meet immediate needs for emergency shelter and food, along with case management, and other help that enable those we serve to make the transition from a shelter bed to a permanent place to call home.

The Housing Corporation of Arlington provides and advocates for decent, affordable housing for low- and moderate-income families and individuals in Arlington and surrounding communities, while promoting social and economic diversity.

The mission of the Somerville Homeless Coalition is to provide homeless and near-homeless individuals and families with personalized supportive services and tailored housing solutions with a goal of obtaining and maintaining affordable housing.

Our co-founder Marion Austin strongly believed in empowering our Haitian children with the tools that they need to succeed, knowing they could one day become Christian leaders and role models in the Haitian society.

Rebuilding Together Boston helps transform the lives of low-income homeowners by improving the safety and health of their homes and revitalizing our communities. Rebuilding Together Boston brings together volunteer teams, partners and community members to provide critical repairs and accessibility modifications for low-income homeowners in our community. We provide our services at no cost to recipients.

JCHE provides safe and affordable independent housing where older adults of all backgrounds can age in community. Our programs and services enable residents to live a full life of connection and purpose in a dynamic and supportive environment.

The Central Connecticut Coast YMCA is a charitable, not-for-profit, community service organization dedicated to putting Judeo-Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all. The mission of the Hoboken Shelter is to be a community partnership that transforms lives by providing meals for the hungry, shelter for the homeless, and services to support people to become housed. We shelter 50 people nightly, serve 500 meals daily, and host 1,000 showers weekly. We serve Hoboken and the Hudson County, NJ area.
