Mission: Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry dedicated to eliminating substandard housing and homelessness worldwide and to making adequate, affordable shelter a matter of conscience and action. Habitat invites people from all faiths and walks of life to work together in partnership, building houses with families in need.

We meet the critical needs of homeless children across North Texas by providing necessities including diapers, clothing, school supplies, toys and programs to enhance their lives.

At Samaritan House, we believe in a community of hope through neighbor helping neighbor. Our mission is to mobilize the resources of our community to help those among us who are in need. Our dedicated professional staff and volunteers work together to provide food, access to shelter, healthcare, and a broad range of supportive services. We preserve dignity, promote self sufficiency, and provide hope.

The mission of Family Promise is to help homeless and low-income families achieve sustainable independence through a community-based response. Poverty is a complex problem. It won’t yield to a simple solution. It requires an integrated approach that reaches beyond immediate needs. We initiate coordinated local efforts that bring communities together to help homeless families regain their housing, their independence, and their dignity. COMMUNITY HELP IN PARK SLOPE, INC. ("CHIPS") IS A NONSECTARIAN, VOLUNTARY, COMMUNITY-BASED NEW YORK NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATION CHARTERED IN 1977. ITS MISSION IS TWOFOLD: TO PROVIDE SUPPORT AND TEMPORARY HOUSING TO NEW AND EXPECTANT MOTHERS, AND TO FEED THOSE IN NEED THROUGH THEIR FOOD PANTRY AND SOUP KITCHEN.

Our mission is to empower those affected by domestic violence and advocate for social change through support, education and outreach.

Covenant House California (CHC) is a non-profit agency whose mission is to reach out to at-risk homeless youth living on the streets and offer them hope and opportunities to turn their lives around. We help abused or neglected youth who have nowhere else to go. A large number have been thrown out of their homes while others have aged out or left the foster care system with no family, no support, and no one to turn to. Since 1988, CHC has impacted the lives of more than 160,000 homeless youth out of our Los Angeles and Bay Area locations. More than 80% of our funding comes from private donations.

Wind Youth Services provides supportive services and opportunities to youth experiencing homelessness as they pursue self-determined lives of stability and independence. Wind strives to engage youth experiencing homelessness who need safety from the streets and access to resources to help them move from crisis to healthy functioning and independence. Wind Youth Services is Sacramento County's only program serving homeless youth. Through our programs and services, Wind Youth Services provides homeless and at-risk youth between the ages of 12 and 24 with basic safety net services and a safe place to stay.
