School on Wheels of Massachusetts’ (SOWMA) mission is to support the academic, social and emotional growth of students impacted by homelessness. Our vision is for all students to have the support necessary to be successful in school and achieve a productive future that will help end the cycle of homelessness.Our 3 “Pathways to Student Success” (One-on-One Tutoring Program, Bridge Program and Tools for School) give at risk students the opportunity to reach their full potential --- by being a consistent presence in their lives, by building their belief in themselves and by increasing their competencies to succeed in school. Since 2004, SOWMA has tutored 3,200+ students, celebrated 39 college graduations and distributed 31,000+ customized backpacks.

District Alliance For Safe Housing

The District Alliance for Safe Housing (DASH) is an innovator in providing access to safe housing and services for survivors of domestic and sexual violence and their families as they rebuild their lives on their own terms. We seek to strengthen and expand the local safety net for survivors by providing high quality, voluntary services that are responsive to their individual needs and by  engaging lawmakers, community members, service providers, and survivors in the movement to make safe housing more accessible in the short-term and less necessary in the long-term. DASH is the largest dedicated safe housing provider for survivors of domestic and sexual violence and their families in Washington, DC.

National Coalition For Homeless Veterans

The National Coalition for Homeless Veterans (NCHV) is the only nationally-based organization solely focused on finding an effective solution for ending veteran homelessness. We work to achieve our mission by promoting collaboration, shaping policy, building service capacity, ensuring accountability, & managing a national hotline. We've build a tight-knit web of almost 200 members and 1700 local service organizations across the country who are addressing the needs of veterans at-risk of & experiencing homelessness. But we will not stop working until every veteran has a home & the ability to maintain it.Our work all comes down to each veteran who avoided or overcame homelessness. We'll continue this effort because it is unacceptable to leave even a single veteran outside the wire.

African American Alliance For Home Ownership

The African American Alliance for Homeownership is a 501(c)(3) non-profit community based organization in Portland, Oregon. We are a Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) approved Housing Counseling Agency with HUD-certified counselors providing first-time homebuyer and foreclosure prevention services to the public. In recent years, AAAH has expanded its services to support homeowners seeking estate plans, resource navigation, home repairs, and energy efficiency upgrades. Under The Bridges and On The Streets

Our all-volunteer “Under The Bridges and On The Streets” program prepares and distributes food, clothing and personal care items directly to the streets, feeding the homeless population of Los Angeles. We prepare nutritious bagged meals and deliver them along with personal care products, new and used clothing and blankets. We serve the homeless on the streets, where they live, which include the elderly, men, women and children.
