We believe that all people deserve the basic necessities of life, and that the community in which we live is called to serve this purpose. To this end, it is the mission of the Boulder Shelter for the Homeless to provide safe shelter, food, support services, and an avenue to self-sufficiency for homeless adults in Boulder and Broomfield Counties, Colorado.

This mission unites all members of the center community in a common endeavor. Because of the depth and severity of the condition of homelessness, no less than a focused and concerted effort can bring lasting change into the lives of our guests.

The mission of the Minnesota Coalition for the Homeless is to generate policies, community support and local resources for housing and services to end homelessness in Minnesota. They believe everyone deserves a safe, decent, affordable place to call home and that homelessness is preventable. Many factors may cause homelessness including a health crisis, a lost job, a mismatch between income and housing costs, family violence, or a transition from an institutional setting back into a community. The Minnesota Coalition for the Homeless exists to ensure the community supports are in place to prevent and address the root causes of homelessness. They achieve their mission and vision through advocacy, technical assistance, and building public awareness. The Minnesota Coalition for the Homeless is uniquely positioned as the hub of a statewide network of 150 homeless service providers and other concerned individuals and organizations across Minnesota. The Coalition has been the voice for people experiencing homelessness and for service providers in state and federal policy decision-making since 1984.

The Little Sisters of the Poor offer needy elderly persons total quality care in a loving, supportive Home where they are welcomed as family and cared for with dignity and respect until death. Believing that to accompany the elderly on their final journey is the greatest expression of their vow of hospitality, the Little Sisters humbly and prayerfully devote their lives to fulfilling this most sacred aspect of Our Lord's mission of salvation.

THE CENTER FOR WOMEN AND FAMILIES ENGAGES INDIVIDUALS AND COMMUNITY IN THE ELIMINATION OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, SEXUAL VIOLENCE AND ECONOMIC HARDSHIP THROUGH SERVICE, EDUCATION AND ADVOCACY.

The Beacon is a non-profit organization that serves the Houston homeless community through daily services, civil legal aid, counseling and mentoring and access to housing. Our mission is to provide essential and next-step services to restore hope and end homelessness in Houston.
