The People Concern

One of Los Angeles County’s largest social services agencies, The People Concern was formed in 2016 in a merger of two trusted social service organizations based in Los Angeles County, OPCC and Lamp Community. Informed by more than fifty years of work in the community, The People Concern is a leading provider of, and advocate for, evidence-based solutions to the multi-faceted challenges inherent in homelessness and domestic violence. With compassion and profound respect for those we serve, we provide a fully integrated system of care – including outreach, interim housing, mental and medical health care, substance abuse services, domestic violence services, lifeskills & wellness programs, and permanent supportive housing – tailored to the unique needs of homeless individuals, survivors of domestic violence, challenged youth, and others who have nowhere else to turn. The People Concern’s model of integrated and comprehensive care empowers our participants to navigate the multi-faceted obstacles in their lives, become their best selves, and ultimately, connect with and contribute to their communities.

Plymouth Healing Communities

Plymouth Healing Communities (PHC) provides companionship, housing and advocacy for individuals who live with mental illness and have experienced homelessness. Our transitional home has a living room, a garden, and a large enough table for everyone to gather for dinners, which they do five nights a week. Our permanent housing is nestled in neighborhoods and comes with friends. At Plymouth Healing Communities, we believe healing happens when vulnerable people are shown care, love, and respect.

RESPOND, Inc.

RESPOND, Inc. partners with individuals, families, and communities to end the serious public health issue of domestic violence. RESPOND strives to achieve its mission through prevention, intervention and education that promote safe, healthy relationships.

THROUGH EMPLOYMENT, EDUCATION, COMMUNITY, CITY AND STATE-WIDE OUTREACH, HOUSING, AND MENTAL/PHYSICAL WELLNESS SERVICES, COMMUNITY ON THE RISE SEEKS TO POSITIVELY AFFECT LIFE OUTCOMES FOR THOSE WHO LIVE IN POVERTY AND HOMELESSNESS.

Jubilee Park & Community Center

The mission of Jubilee Park and Community Center is to be a catalyst for community renewal and enrichment to the Jubilee Park Neighborhood, a 62-block area in southeast Dallas. The majority of families here are working poor who are under served in terms of education and health resources.

Sancta Marias Windsor House

Windsor House Adult Day Health (ADH) program became the geriatric program of New Communities Services, Inc. (NCS) in 1977, and currently operates two lively cost-effective adult day health centers. It continues with an excellent track record to keep adults where they want to be- in the familiar settings of their homes and communities and is committed to provide eligible residents opportunities to age in the least restrictive place, with services designed to maintain independence and enhance their sense of self-worth. Windsor House ADH also aims to diminish caregiver stress through respite, support groups, and educational materials.

Alabaster Jar Project

Our mission is to restore and empower women who have been affected by human trafficking and sexual exploitation. Our program will provide a safe, nurturing living environment in North County, San Diego that will facilitate spiritual, physical, mental and emotional healing along with an array of support services and educational opportunities for survivors of human trafficking and sexual exploitation. Fostering self-understanding through personal and spiritual growth; Providing life-skill building and maintenance education; Offering opportunities to work towards self-sufficiency in a therapeutic work environment.

Central Connecticut Coast YMCA
