Our Mission is to improve the lives of homeless women, youth and children by providing sanctuary, support, education, tools and resources that empower them to improve the quality of their lives on every level, achieve greater self sufficiency, and build safe, secure lives. In their dreams come true, we enrich our community with the fruit of their potential realized. To support our mission, we also advocate on behalf of homeless women, youth and children to raise awareness of their special needs; inspire innovative, holistic solutions that truly break the cycle of childhood abuse, domestic violence and homelessness; and advance research and enlightened social policies to end homelessness.

To end the experience of homelessness for women and children in our community by providing shelter, housing, and supportive services.

CLARE provides services to all those seeking recovery from alcoholism and substance abuse. Eleven programs in four Los Angeles-area locations meet the recovery needs of individuals, families and the community through a culturally sensitive, individualized, outcomes-oriented, "whole" person model of care. Programs are based on over 30 years of experience with Social Model treatment and the 12-step program developed by Alcoholics Anonymous. CLARE believes that recovery involves individual effort, the non-judgmental support of others and a clean, secure and sober environment.

Our all-volunteer “Under The Bridges and On The Streets” program prepares and distributes food, clothing and personal care items directly to the streets, feeding the homeless population of Los Angeles. We prepare nutritious bagged meals and deliver them along with personal care products, new and used clothing and blankets. We serve the homeless on the streets, where they live, which include the elderly, men, women and children.

In 2016 we answered a call in our local, online newspaper, Next Door, inviting anyone interested to come join a small group who were currently serving coffee and donuts to the homeless population in Venice. Within a few short weeks we saw the great need for so much more. We began to bring hand sanitizers, wipes, tissues, shoes, blankets, tents and whatever else we could supply. We decided we wanted to help on a much more personal level, far beyond dropping off supplies and serving coffee. We chose to see if we could begin to transition the homeless off the streets. It took a tremendous amount of time to build the necessary trust with each person before they slowly began to believe we really were going to help them transition from chronic homelessness into a life with purpose. This is a very long expensive process which requires endless courage, strength, and resilience on the part of the homeless individual trying to change their life. In 2017 we established our I.R.C. 501(c)(3) Hope For The Hearts Of The Homeless, Inc., hopesforhomeless.org. We were making progress and began to witness success, watching those who wanted to change their lives succeed, yet needing a helping hand throughout the entire process. For some it begins with a hospital stay first, for others it’s a drug/alcohol rehab, and for many it is help finding affordable housing. In addition, we assist obtaining eligible benefits for those who qualify. We currently work close to 7 days a week with many days going well into the night. All we do is worth every minute, seeing a once homeless individual blossom into a new life. Once stable, we then assist with job placement for some, going back to school for others, and reconnecting some with their family and friends, once estranged. Please help us help the homeless. Our mission is to embrace, enhance and support the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities (our Farmers). We strive to help each Farmer increase their self-reliance, have positive social interactions and develop the skills they need to achieve their individual goals. Our vision is to provide  A Place Where Exceptional Farmers Live, Work, Play and Grow! A positive supportive environment is the foundation of our programs which focus on the development and retention of life, vocational and social skills for youth and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (ID/DD).  Maximizing employment skills, self-sufficiency and independence are critical to enabling individuals with ID/DD to meet their basic needs. 

The Gathering Inn's mission is to meet people where they are, inspire hope, and walk alongside them on their journey to sustainable housing. In its 19th year of operation, TGI offers a complete continuum of housing and supportive services for homeless individuals: emergency housing; medical respite care; permanent supportive housing; external housing placement; comprehensive support services; education and training; and aftercare follow-up. Not only does The Gathering Inn exist to fulfill the original mission and vision of our founders, but it also builds on that foundation by expanding services that address barriers to housing. The lives of TGI guests are transformed by inspiring self-sufficiency and inviting them to achieve sustainable housing.

Knit the Rainbow's mission is to provide handmade knit and crochet winter protective garments to homeless LGBTQ+ youth across the nation.

To improve the lives of the vulnerable among us by preventing homelessness and inequity through compassion and respect.

The Mercy Tree is a non-profit charitable corporation that provides a hot meal and God’s Word to homeless people in the Clear Lake, TX area everyday. They also provide showers on Saturdays. Clothing and toiletries are made available when possible.

The Lord's Place is dedicated to breaking the cycle of homelessness by providing innovative, compassionate and effective services to men, women and children in our community.
