Humanitarian Action Network

The mission of Humanitarian Action Network is to provide direct humanitarian aid to people who are experiencing homelessness in Sacramento, California. Humanitarian Action Network (HAN) differs from other organizations that support the homeless in that they meet people where they are on the streets. This is important because most of these people do not have the ability to travel either due to mental or physical handicap, lack of funds for public transportation, or for fear of leaving their belongings behind for the day. HAN's ongoing projects include annual summer and winter care packages for the homeless, and more. Please visit the HAN website for more information.

From providing food assistance, career coaching, mental health counseling, to financial literacy education, we’re as committed to strengthening overall wellbeing as we are to ensuring everyone has a place to call home.
