Our Mission Is: The Rescue Mission Utica Is A Christian Ministry Unconditionally Endeavoring To Assess And Meet The Physical, Emotional And Spiritual Needs Of People Coming For Assistance.For Over 126 Years, The Rescue Mission Has Grown In Its Ability To Supply Residency-Based Programs Aimed At: Breaking The Cycle Of Drug And Alcohol Dependency, Housing Homeless Men, Teaching Life Skills And Providing Residents With Supportive And Aftercare Services So That They Can Learn Vocational Skills And Obtain And Maintain Long-Term, Sustained Independence. The Rescue Mission Of Utica Provides A Wide Array Of Services And Housing To The Homeless, The Mentally Ill, Those Struggling With Addictions Seeking To Reestablish Themselves In And To Contribute To Society. It Is The Largest Provider Of Such Services Between Syracuse And Schenectady.

Since 1948, the Orlando Union Rescue Mission's purpose has been to bring the hungry, hurting and homeless to new life, new goals and a new future in Christ. While providing basic services such as food, clothing and shelter, the Orlando Union Rescue Mission also offers life-changing programs that rebuild lives emotionally and spiritually. This is accomplished through Christian teaching, mentorships and work discipline in order to return formerly homeless men, women and children to a productive and self-sufficient lifestyle.

The City Mission of Schenectady, founded in 1906, is dedicated to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ in word and deed. The ministries are seeking to comprehensively meet the needs of the poor in a manner that dignifies and strengthens the individual, the family, and the community.
