The WhatMighty Hero Homes exist to eradicate veteran homelessness by providing affordable, permanent homes to all homeless veterans in safe environments with a full array of on-Base amenities and wraparound services. Homeless to Home Ownership is the objective for each Base resident. The WhyBecause They Deserve Better. These four words drive all that we do. While not easy, the “what” part of our mission is simple. The “why” part is harder to delineate but to us, exponentially more important. When ordinary people exercise obsessive obedience in pursuit of their purpose, the unattainable becomes reality. The Mighty Hero Homes family seeks to glorify God, by using the gifts and talents He’s provided to accomplish the mission of ending veteran homelessness in the United States.

The mission of the Neighborhood Development Foundation is to educate and assist low and moderate-income families to build asset through homeownership.

THE ORLANDO UNION RESCUE MISSION FOUNDATION, INC. WAS FORMED FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF RECEIVING, MANAGING, AND INVESTING FUNDS SOLELY FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE ORLANDO UNION RESCUE MISSION, INC. (A NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATION). IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE POLICY ESTABLISHED BY THE ORLANDO UNION RESCUE MISSION, INC., LARGE GIFTS AND BEQUESTS ARE TRANSFERRED TO THE FOUNDATION. THE FOUNDATION IS REQUIRED TO PERIODICALLY DISBURSE THE INCOME AND THE PRINCIPAL TO OR FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE ORLANDO UNION RESCUE MISSION, INC. EXCEPT FOR CAPITAL CAMPAIGN PROJECTS, THE FOUNDATION MAY NOT DISTRIBUTE PRINCIPAL IN EXCESS OF ONE-TENTH OF THE TOTAL PRINCIPAL EACH YEAR. THE ORLANDO UNION RESCUE MISSION, INC. HAS A SIGNIFICANT VOICE IN THE DISBURSEMENT OF FUNDS IN THAT THEY MAY REQUEST IN WRITING ON A QUARTERLY BASIS AS TO THE AMOUNT OF THE FUNDS THAT THEY NEED. THE SUPPORTED ORGANIZATION APPROVES ALL BYLAWS AND ANY CHANGES TO THEM. THE DISTRIBUTION REQUIREMENTS ARE STATED IN THE BYLAWS.

The James H. Cole Legacy Foundation seeks to provide opportunities for economic empowerment, assist underserved schools and children in need, and support everyday people who serve to make Detroit a great place to live. To do this, we establish relationships to support non-profit organizations, small businesses, and individuals in need within our community.
