VEDI was founded to increase veteran business capacity via sustainable community alliances to reinforce the returning veterans' civilian experience and reduce veteran business failures and rampant veteran unemployment
Operation Enduring Warrior (OEW) is a veteran-founded non‐profit 501(c)3 whose mission is to Honor, Empower and Motivate our nation's wounded service members through a physical, mental and emotional rehabilitation. Our program helps participants overcome adversity and hardship through innovation, teamwork and perseverance. This ultimately enables wounded veterans' lives to go in directions they may have once thought were impossible.
The organization specializes in pairing and training companion, emotional support, and certified service dogs with military veterans coping with the affects of Post Traumatic Stress.
Their common bond is the battlefield, whether it is service in the Persian Gulf, Korea, Kosovo, WWII, Vietnam, Bosnia or the war on terrorism or peace-keeping expeditionary campaigns. Their courage and sacrifice have made a difference in preserving and defending world peace. As they remember to never again leave even one Veteran behind, They continue to serve their Comrades, wherever they are or have been. They are here to help.
To build and sustain the morale and well being of the military community, past and present, with the assurance that the American public supports and appreciates their selfless service and daily sacrifices.
The Mission of the Pritzker Military Library is to acquire and maintain an accessible collection of materials and develop appropriate programs focusing on the Citizen Soldier in the preservation of democracy.
Our mission is to bridge the gap between need-awareness-service for our citizen soldiers and the resources that become available to them once they become a full-time service member via active military orders/deployment. Our assistance is NOT based on rank, applications or repayment requirements. Our assistance has no preset limit as we respond to each situation for its own uniqueness and do not put boundaries on the way we are able to provide assistance. Operation Appreciation works hand-in-hand with family resource programs/personnel to identify units that are preparing to deploy, are currently deployed or may be in the process of reintegration to let them know we are here and that they will be taken care of. This could be covering postage for care packages, providing emergency assistance for situations that can (and do) arise when a service member is away, deployment and welcome home ceremonies, traumatic injuries, funerals, PTSD, finding available resources outside our area of expertise…..the need is vast.
Founded in 2016 to support fundraising efforts in support of our wounded military veterans and other community causes in the Austin, TX area.
Remember Everyone Deployed R.E.D was created to bring about awareness of the emotional and financial stress our deployed military and their broken-hearted loved ones left behind face.
