In times of triumph and through adversity, Coast Guard Foundation programs: -focus on the well-being, education and morale of the men and women of the United States Coast Guard; -empower and educate Coast Guard families; -provide critical support during times of injury and loss. We also support academic, athletic and leadership excellence for cadets at the United States Coast Guard Academy, and partner with the Coast Guard Auxiliary - the volunteer arm of the service - providing units with critical funding for mission support.

The purpose of Veterans Empowerment Organization, VEO, is to enhance the quality of life for all veterans on their journey to self-sufficiency. VEO’s mission is solely dedicated to helping veterans put their lives back together. Veterans Empowerment Organization was founded in 2008 to address the lack of services available to Atlanta’s homeless veterans. Over the years, more than 6,500 veterans have been served through transitional and supportive housing, workforce initiatives, mental health and substance use interventions to empower veterans on their journey to self-sufficiency.

MISSION: TO CONNECT VETERANS THROUGH OUTREACH PROGRAMS TO BUILD STRENGTH OF CHARACTER. Save the Brave (STB) is a certified, one hundred percent, nonprofit organization devoted to provide camaraderie and stress management programs. STB is committed to establishing connectivity of the mind, body, and spirit by creating solid support networks that are entirely accessible to all Veterans in need. Through diverse outreach programs and financial assistance, STB provides a safe and comfortable space for Veterans to connect with each other, share stories, struggles, and accomplishments to heal the wounds that go largely unseen.

APK Charities was created to help us properly honor and remember the life, bravery, and humanitarian spirit of our son, Captain Andrew M. Pedersen-Keel. The past fifteen years of war have caused America’s military and their families to make enormous sacrifices. We seek to raise awareness and support for our active, retired, wounded and fallen warriors and their families and to provide financial aid and material assistance to charitable organizations and causes.APK Charities mission is to serve as a bridge connecting our society and our Armed Forces, opening our hearts and minds to serve those who protect us.

U.S.VETS mission is the successful transition of military veterans and their families through the provision of housing, counseling, career development, and comprehensive support. U.S.VETS is the largest veteran-specific non-profit housing and service provider in the country with 10 sites in five states (AZ, CA, HI, NV, and TX) and the District of Columbia. Since its inception in 1993, U.S.VETS has engaged over 135,000 veterans, provided residential services to nearly 50,000 veterans and placed 13,000 veterans into jobs. Core services include supportive transitional and permanent housing and employment assistance to help homeless and at-risk veterans achieve self-sufficiency.

The mission of Veterans Moving Forward (VMF) is to provide service dogs, facility dogs and Emotional Support dogs to American veterans with physical and mental health challenges at no cost to the veteran or their family.. Through these services, VMF strives to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our disabled veterans by facilitating their recovery and increasing their safety and independence within their homes and communities. VMF provides canine support to address both visible and invisible wounds, ranging from adjusting to loss of limbs to post-traumatic stress. These disabilities may have been acquired either during military service to our country, or through an accident or illness incurred in private life following that service.

Our mission is to serve as a resource for the community to ease the readjustment and reintegration of military members returning from our current wars and their families, as well as veterans from previous eras. We work towards peace and healing by providing the services required, advocating for clients, assisting the community at large in finding these services through other agencies, or facilitating the creation of programs by individual organizations. In addition, we strive to help develop future mental healthcare professionals who work with our demographic by offering internships and other professional development opportunities. In this way we are able to directly address the constantly growing need for well-trained providers to our community.

Hello! We are Cali Roots Veterans Oasis, a new 501(c)(3) registered nonprofit on California's Central Coast, co-founded and operated by a disabled Veteran and his wife, Alex. Our mission is to promote the total health & wellness of Veterans & their families by helping them achieve inner peace through grounded wellness. We offer classes on horticulture as a form of therapy, yoga, meditation, and breathing exercises for a total wellness experience to alter the course of struggling warriors. Anything you can donate will help build our inventory of plants, trees, and flowers, and help get us up and growing! Thank you for your time and consideration!

Established in 2010 by Boston firefighters, local Veterans, Gold Star Families, and Police Officers. We ourselves are Combat Veterans who have served in Iraq and Afghanistan and we are committed to memorializing our fellow service members who did not return home to their families. Our work began with a goal to construct a public memorial to honor all Massachusetts Fallen Heroes since September 11, 2001. Since the completion of the memorial, Massachusetts Fallen Heroes has expanded its mission to provide services and programs that Honor the Fallen, Support Gold Star Families and Empower Veterans. Massachusetts Fallen Heroes remains committed to supporting Veterans and Gold Star Families while raising awareness of their sacrifice.

Military members nation-wide confront a multitude of problems during their careers, the last thing they need to worry about is their pet's care during their service commitments. Dogs On Deployment is a 501(c)(3) national non-profit which provides an online network for service members to search for volunteers who are willing to board their pets during their owner's service commitments. Dogs on Deployment promotes responsible, life-long pet ownership by military pet owners by advocating for military pet owner rights, providing educational resources and granting financial assistance for military pet owners during times of emergency. Friends of Fisher House Illinois (FOFH-IL) is dedicated to financial, volunteer, and emotional support for Illinois Fisher Houses built through the Fisher House Foundation's mission to support America's military in their time of need. Fisher Houses are “homes away from home" that enable family members to be close to a loved one at the most stressful time – during hospitalization for an illness, disease, or injury. The program recognizes the special sacrifices of our men and women in uniform and their families and the hardships of military service by meeting a humanitarian need beyond that normally provided by the Departments of Defense and Veterans Affairs. We now sustain Hines Fisher House and will sustain Lovell Fisher House, North Chicago soon

Warrior Foundation Freedom Station’s Mission is to be the leading force in assisting, honoring and supporting the military men and women who have so bravely served and sacrificed for our country. We are committed to providing our warriors with quality-of-life items, support services and transitional housing designed to assist them and their families during recovery. Warrior Foundation Freedom Station Assists Four Main Groups of Warriors: 1. The seriously ill and injured soon to be medically retired 2. Those suffering from post-traumatic stress (PTS) and/or traumatic brain injury (TBI) 3. Those undergoing physical or occupational therapy 4. Warriors who have been medically retired and remain in our community
