The Call of Duty Endowment uses a venture philanthropy approach. In essence, we fund the best organizations we can find—with strings attached. Recipients must demonstrate effective and cost-efficient veteran job placement. When they do, we encourage their growth and operations with additional funding, advice and support.

Support The Enlisted Project (STEP) provides emergency financial and transition assistance grants to active duty and recently discharged enlisted military and their families. Financial assistance is provided in 12 categories encompassing a wide range of emergency needs. Military and veteran families often struggle to meet their most basic needs due to California's high cost of living index. Awarding financial assistance as a grant, not a loan, ensures that these families can move forward without the burden or worry of paying off another debt.The war in Afghanistan is winding down and our service members are returning home to fight a very different battle. Severe defense budget cuts are forcing hundreds of thousands of service members to involuntarily separate from the military with very little resources, support, or opportunities for employment. STEP will continue our efforts to support active duty military families, but now we also pay special attention to our recently discharged veterans as they struggle to successfully reintegrate back into civilian society. STEP is a reliable, relevant, and responsive Southern California resource that our Nation's heroes and their families can depend upon in their time of need.

Our organizations mission is to provide rehabilitative experiences through golf and family-inclusive opportunities for wounded veterans from EVERY conflict in an effort to improve the quality of life for these American heroes. Utilizing these rehabilitative experiences through golf and family-inclusive opportunities helps improve the mental and physical condition (balance, coordination, muscle memory and stamina) of each and every Wounded Hero returning from combat. Help support an amazing cause and show these heroes that they are not forgotten.

Our mission is to help everyone who served, their families and caregivers, have their best possible life after serving our Country. With your contribution, we are able to reach more and more vets, hopefully helping to lower the 28 suicides a day, decrease addiction, and so much more. After all, they volunteered to risk their lives for ours, shouldn’t we help them reacclimate to civilian life as best as possible after their service? Since 2016 KAV has been working hard to reach as many people as possible to make them aware of over 90 issues that may be hampering them. We help them gain a better understanding of those issues, as well as how and where to get help. The heart of our Free service is our website, www.KnowAVet.org where, in addition to being able to understand each issue (including hundreds of videos), they can search to find both government and vetted private services for each issue, by zip code. For those who are overwhelmed by all the options, we have live Champions. We do not make decisions for them, but rather guide them through the process of making their own choices and setting their own priorities, before using a zip code locator. We appreciate each and every one of our donors. We wouldn’t be where we are without your support, with an average of 1,800 visitors to our site per week and 1,400+ subscribers to our Free e-newsletter achieving a consistent 40% open rate. Because we are a virtual charity, our overhead is less than $1,000 per month, so almost all of your donation will go toward program implementation. Our Mission: To help those who have served our country honorably live with dignity and independence. The service dog programs of America’s VetDogs® were created to provide enhanced mobility and renewed independence to veterans, active-duty service members, and first responders with disabilities, allowing them to once again live with pride and self-reliance. Not only does a service dog provide support with daily activities, it provides the motivation to tackle new challenges. VetDogs trains and places guide dogs for individuals who are blind or have low vision; PTSD service dogs to help mitigate the effects of post-traumatic stress disorder; hearing dogs for those who have lost their hearing later in life; service dogs for those with other physical disabilities, and facility dogs as part of the rehabilitation process in military and VA hospitals. It costs over $50,000 to breed, raise, train, and place one assistance dog; however, all of VetDogs’ services are provided at no charge to the individual. Funding comes from the generosity of individuals, corporations, foundations, businesses, and service and fraternal clubs. Once they make the decision to get a service dog, applicants become part of VetDogs’ open and welcoming community. They are supported with an uncompromised commitment to excellence, from highly empathetic and certified trainers to a meticulously constructed curriculum. VetDogs teams each student with the dog that’s right for them – and the power of their bond makes ordinary moments extraordinary. Crossing the street independently becomes a moment of liberation. Traveling alone becomes a welcome adventure. Embracing new experiences becomes an everyday occurrence. America’s VetDogs launched in 2003 as a project of the Guide Dog Foundation. In 2006, it became a separate 501(c)(3) corporation; the two organizations continue to share staff and other resources to ensure people with disabilities receive the best services possible. With an assistance dog from America's VetDogs by their side, a hero is never alone. With their courage and determination, these remarkable teams reconnect us all to the highest form of freedom there is: the freedom to experience the world around us in any way we choose, and to live without boundaries.

The Young Marines strengthens the lives of America’s youth by teaching the importance of self-confidence, academic achievement, honoring our veterans, good citizenship, community service, and living a healthy, drug-free lifestyle. The Young Marines promotes the mental, moral, and physical development of its members. The program focuses on character building and leadership and promotes a lifestyle that is conducive to being productive members of society.

Founded in 2008 to help the National Park Service preserve and interpret the Civil War Defenses of Washington, the ring of forts built to protect the nation's capital from Confederate attack.

The organization was granted a charter as a not for profit corporation for patriotic and educational purposes with special concern for the welfare of veterans. The organization's principal activities consist of advising and assisting veterans with respect to their benefits, advocating on behalf of veterans, and fundraising for various civic and religious causes.
