The Young Marines promotes the mental, moral, and physical development of its members. The program focuses on character building and leadership and promotes a lifestyle that is conducive to being productive members of society.

To Heroes In The Rough

Our organizations mission is to provide rehabilitative experiences through golf and family-inclusive opportunities for wounded veterans from EVERY conflict in an effort to improve the quality of life for these American heroes. Utilizing these rehabilitative experiences through golf and family-inclusive opportunities helps improve the mental and physical condition (balance, coordination, muscle memory and stamina) of each and every Wounded Hero returning from combat. Help support an amazing cause and show these heroes that they are not forgotten.

The Florida Veterans Foundation serves, supports, and advocates for Florida veterans to improve their well being. The Florida Veterans Foundation: Serves Florida veterans and their families by providing direct services and partnering with state and local governments, veteran service organizations, and educational institutions to improve their physical, financial, mental, emotional, and social well being; Supports the Florida Department of Veterans Affairs’ mission of advocacy; and, Advocates for Florida veterans by educating the public and governmental entities to increase awareness on veteran-related issues.

Warriors Fund d/b/a Wounded Warriors

We think that those who have been impacted by military duty can prosper at home by reestablishing a sense of self, family, and optimism. Warriors Fund offers comprehensive support services for service members, veterans, and military families, with an emphasis on transition, health and wellbeing, peer participation, and linkages to community resources.

PARALYZED VETERANS OF AMERICA - WEST ROXBURY

New England Paralyzed Veterans of America is a chapter of paralyzed veterans of america, a not-for-profit organization. The chapter, in conjunction with the national organization, provides benefits to persons who have suffered injuries or diseases of he spinal cord by monitoring the delivery of health care promoting medical research, educating society on the attitudinal, physical, and legal barriers.  

Safe Soldiers And Families Embraced

Our mission is to serve as a resource for the community to ease the readjustment and reintegration of military members returning from our current wars and their families, as well as veterans from previous eras. We work towards peace and healing by providing the services required, advocating for clients, assisting the community at large in finding these services through other agencies, or facilitating the creation of programs by individual organizations. In addition, we strive to help develop future mental healthcare professionals who work with our demographic by offering internships and other professional development opportunities. In this way we are able to directly address the constantly growing need for well-trained providers to our community.

New England Shelter for Homeless Veterans

The Mission of the New England Shelter for Homeless Veterans is to extend a helping hand to homeless veterans who have served the United States honorably in peace and war who are addressing the challenges of addiction, trauma, severe and persistant mental illness, and/or unemployment. And, who will commit themselves to sobriety, non-violence, and working for personal change; to offer homeless veterans temporary, save overnight accomodation and basic nutrition; to offer in a fiscally sound manner effective longer term programs which best meet the veteran's transition needs, utilizing the full range of government, foundation grants and private contributions; to refer veterans to other public and private institutions through a network of service providers who can meet their needs, not duplicating what others can do better; to create and operate housing for veterans as an important solution to homelessness; and to one day become recognized as the most effective private veteran's transition program in the country.

National Association Of Atomic Veterans

The National Association of Atomic Veterans (NAAV) was founded in August 1979 by the late Orville E. Kelly of Burlington, Iowa. Its purpose is to provide the U. S. Atomic Veteran community to speak, with a single voice, to their inability to get a fair hearing related to their developing radiogenic health issues that may have been precipitated by their exposure to “ionizing” radiation while participating in a nuclear weapon test detonation, or a “post-test” event. From the beginning, and to date, we continue to pursue our dedication to this important cause.

Asia America Initiative

The mission of AAI is to build hope and empower communities afflicted by armed conflict and severe poverty. We believe that peace, security and respect for human dignity are inseparable. Our goal is to develop programs as sustainable models that can be replicated globally. Our people-to-people initiatives integrate health, education, arts and livelihood as a basis for mediation. By building Hope, we overcome the hatred propagated by terror organizations. The success of these cost-effective models shows that empowering impoverished and conflict-plagued communities strengthens international security, stability and peace.

Angels Wings Transport

Angel's Wings coordinates transport of displaced animals, medical patients in financial need and Military Veterans from an airport closest to the point of origination to an airport closest to the destination through the use of general aviation aircraft. By using private or corporate planes, we have the ability to fly into not only commercial airports, but also small local airstrips. There is never a fee to the sending or receiving organization. Angel's Wings arranges free air transportation on private aircraft in response to pet overpopulation, health care and other compelling human needs.
