ChildServe is a not-for-profit organization that partners with families to help children with special health care needs live a great life. Originally founded in 1928 as a convalescent home for children, today ChildServe provides specialized pediatric health care services to more than 2,000 children in Iowa. Through the support of private insurance, public funds, and the philanthropic efforts of the ChildServe Foundation, ChildServe offers accessible, family-centered care unique to each child’s needs, hopes, and dreams. The Little Sisters of the Poor offer needy elderly persons total quality care in a loving, supportive Home where they are welcomed as family and cared for with dignity and respect until death. Aging Together builds collaborations that create and enhance supports for older persons, their families and their caregivers in Culpeper, Fauquier, Rappahannock, Madison and Orange Counties.

Vision & Values Statement SCHF exists to elevate the quality of life experienced by those confronting a terminal illness. Our services support not just the patient, but family members and caregivers as well. As a result, we are continuously working with the care team to fulfill our mission, all the while, never losing sight of our vision: to open a Hospice House in Southern California that serves as a live-in facility for end-of-life care. We Believe: Every life is precious… Every life deserves to be celebrated… Each moment should be lived to its fullest… These are the fundamental values that drive the Southern California Hospice Foundation to continually reach out and serve those struggling with the complex issues surrounding end-of-life.

After a survey found over 50,000 widows of career enlisted Air Force personnel lived in poverty, the Air Force Enlisted Men's, Widows and Dependents Home Foundation was incorporated in 1971. Teresa Village, an apartment complex located in Fort Walton Beach, FL was purchased in 1975, providing the first housing for enlisted widows. Construction of Bob Hope Village was completed in 1988. Between the two villages, we have the capability to house and provide services for 450 resident in independent living apartments. A reflection of our growing and evolving mission was our official name change in 2002 to the Air Force Enlisted Village. On September 15, 2005 our new Assisted Living Residence, Hawthorn House was opened adjacent to Bob Hope Village. We can now provide a greater level of care as our residents age in place. The long range goal is to eventually build a skilled nursing residence in order to provide continuous life care. Our campus also has a beautiful all-faiths chapel, a welcome center and an administrative building. Providing for resident's physical, social , psychological, health and security needs is the AFEV's only purpose.
