The mission of Beechwood is to provide a high level of care designed to improve the quality of life for residents of the home. The mission is accomplished by: Promoting resident’s independence and rehabilitation in a comfortable, enjoyable, family-like home, with personalized services that foster hope and mutual support. Offering – as a non-profit, philanthropic, non-sectarian, skilled nursing home –specialized, extensive, long term health services to male and female adults of every race, creed, national origin, and economic status who have incurable, chronic, and disabling neurologic conditions. Providing for the needs of the whole person through resident oriented services such as: physical therapy, quality meal service and a full range of social, cultural, religious, and recreational activities.

Our mission is to lead a unified effort for a hunger-free Texas. We move millions of hungry Texans toward food security through a statewide network of food banks; strengthen the collective response to hunger through collaboration and scaling success; and lead the public conversation needed to solve hunger in Texas.

The mission of Grace Diner is to serve the underserved in our community by providing diners with a free, three-course meal that is served with respect, in a warm, restaurant-style setting. We create peace of mind by providing compassionate care and support to those who need us.   People of all ages turn to Avow for various kinds of support. As a result, we cast our mission statement to define our 'customers' as "those who need us;" similarly, we defined the universal service we provide as "creating peace of mind." Some people we help are terminally ill, others are grieving. Some need education on how to be a compassionate caregiver. Some are children working through a loss.  Because there is such variety in our clients and why they turn to us, we think our mission statement explains what we universally work to provide: peace of mind.

Safe Haven serves families in the villages of Siem Reap, Cambodia. LAWRENCE MEALS ON WHEELS' MISSION HAS ALWAYS BEEN TO PROVIDE FOOD SERVICE FOR THE AGED, CONVALESCENT AND/OR DISABLED RESIDING IN LAWRENCE, KANSAS, REGARDLESS OF RACE, COLOR OR CREED, IN ORDER TO REMAIN INDEPENDENT IN THEIR OWN HOMES AS LONG AS POSSIBLE. IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE ORGANIZATION'S GOAL TO PROVIDE SERVICES TO ELIGIBLE CLIENTS REGARDLESS OF THEIR ABILITY TO PAY.
