Community Bridges envisions a thriving community where every person has the opportunity to unleash their full potential. Our family of ten programs delivers essential services, provides equitable access to resources, and advocates for health and dignity across every stage of life. Every year, we meet the needs of thousands of local children, families and seniors with broad support from individuals, businesses, foundations and government. We believe that when we work together, anything is possible. Our Child Development Division's experienced, bilingual teachers offer early education opportunities, developmental screenings, and family engagement at six centers throughout the county. Child & Adult Care Food Program is a nutrition assistance program that ensures low-income children and adults attending licensed facilities receive healthy meals and each every day. Elderday Adult Day Health Care is the only program of its kind in Santa Cruz County, serving approximately 70 elders and adults with physical, emotional, or cognitive impairments each day. It provides the services this vulnerable population needs to stay healthy and maintain the highest level of independence possible. Our Family Resource Collective works with individuals and families to build safe, healthy, and compassionate communities through education, resources, and advocacy. It includes La Manzana Community Resources, Live Oak Family Resource Center, Mountain Community Resources, and Nueva Vista. Lift Line provides accessible rides to low-income, disabled, elderly and frail individuals each year, ensuring that their medical, nutritional, and emotional needs are met. Meals on Wheels for Santa Cruz County serves more than 600 meals per day to low-income, frail, elderly, and disabled residents. With no required payment or waiting list, those in need can count on a warm meal at one of our five centers, or delivered straight to their doors. Women, Infants & Children (WIC) provides nutrition education, food stamps, and breastfeeding support to more than 9,000 low-income pregnant women, infants and children each month, helping families thrive.

The Loretto Foundation is the not-for-profit corporation whose mission is to provide financial support by the solicitation of funds and property from the general public, charitable foundations and all other appropriate sources to help sustain Loretto's role as an innovator in long-term care, responsive to the diverse needs of an aging population. The Loretto Foundation also strives to heighten community awareness of Loretto, its programs and services in providing for the needs of older adults. The Loretto Foundation supports the Loretto mission that, Loretto, rooted in a rich heritage of faith and service, works to honor and empower Elders and those who care for them to live with purpose, wholeness and dignity.

The mission of The Campus Kitchens Project is to use service as a tool to: Strengthen Bodies by using existing resources to meet hunger and nutritional needs in our communities; Empower Minds by providing leadership and service learning opportunities to college students, and educational benefits to adults, seniors, children, and families in need; and Build Communities by fostering a new generation of community-minded adults through resourceful and mutually beneficial partnerships among students, social service agencies, businesses and universities.

Meals on Wheels America is the leadership organization supporting the more than 5,000 community-based programs across the country that are dedicated to addressing senior isolation and hunger. This network serves virtually every community in America and, along with more than two million staff and volunteers, delivers the nutritious meals, friendly visits and safety checks that enable America’s seniors to live nourished lives with independence and dignity. By providing funding, leadership, education, research and advocacy support, Meals on Wheels America empowers its local member programs to strengthen their communities, one senior at a time. Britepaths provides our neighbors in need with short-term safety-net services and empower them to work toward long-term self-sufficiency. Since 1984, Britepaths has been a dedicated leader in developing sustainable solutions meeting the challenges faced by families in financial crisis in Northern Virginia through emergency food and financial assistance, financial empowerment, workforce development, and supports for children. We strive to provide help and hope for 8,000 families and individuals annually, who live from paycheck-to-paycheck, where unexpected expenses can send them spiraling from self-sufficiency to the brink of homelessness. Our services rely on the amazing work of approximately 450 volunteers working over 5,000 hours.

We create peace of mind by providing compassionate care and support to those who need us.   People of all ages turn to Avow for various kinds of support. As a result, we cast our mission statement to define our 'customers' as "those who need us;" similarly, we defined the universal service we provide as "creating peace of mind." Some people we help are terminally ill, others are grieving. Some need education on how to be a compassionate caregiver. Some are children working through a loss.  Because there is such variety in our clients and why they turn to us, we think our mission statement explains what we universally work to provide: peace of mind.

The Organization strives to serve our aging community with a continuum of high quality care-giving options, provided in a Christian environment, and to serve those with limited funds to the best of our ability. We provide high-quality independent living, personal care, and skilled nursing services to those individuals entrusted to our care.

The mission of Bridge Meadows is to build and sustain supportive intergenerational neighborhoods for families of children who have experienced the foster care system, promoting permanency and caring relationships, while offering safety and meaningful purpose to the daily lives of older adults.
