ELSA's mission is to improve the lives of children, teens and young adults with special needs and their families through the benefits of human-animal interaction programs in the ranch environment using horses and farm animals. Participants in ELSA programs build trust, reduce anxiety, develop empathy, attachment, and sensory awareness and improve their observation and problem-solving competencies, nonverbal language cues, and other communication and social skills. Through ineraction with horses, particpants gain confidence and empowerment.

Jewish Family Service of Los Angeles is an extended family of compassionate social services that enriches the community and improves the lives of countless men, women and children of all religions, ethnicities and ages. For more than 150 years, JFS has counseled families, fed the hungry, sheltered the homeless and protected the vulnerable. As Los Angeles’ oldest and most dynamic charitable organization, JFS is a trusted source of care and support, meeting the diverse and changing needs of a diverse and changing city. As the leading Jewish social services agency in Los Angeles, Jewish Family Service LA is a trusted and critical source of support for the Jewish community. But our work does not stop there. Jewish values require – and the actions of JFSLA demonstrate – our commitment to serving everyone in the Los Angeles community, of all backgrounds and identities. The Jewish tradition teaches us to honor the dignity of every individual, to extend our practice of service and loving kindness for all, and to do our part to help heal the world. Our mission is to secure, through advocacy and private sector support, the completion of Hudson River Park, which is already recognized as setting the standard, nationwide, of what a great waterfront park can be. We seek to ensure adequate public funding to build the Park as well as private sector funding to maintain and enhance it.  We collaborate with the Hudson River Park Trust, the City-State agency responsible for building and oeprating the Park to fulfill the obligations of the Hudson River Park Act. We also support programming and sponsor other community events in the Park.

We believe in creating a long-lasting legacy so that our much needed work and support continues on within our communities indefinitely through our network of Mentivity mentees.

The Montgomery Parks Foundation champions Montgomery County Parks cultivating financial support and public engagement of county residents and businesses as members, donors, sponsors and advocates. We will inspire charitable giving and cultivate and solicit private donations at all levels to support programs and projects that preserve and enhance Montgomery Parks. We will encourage public support and activism on behalf of our parks and believe such involvement strengthens our community and fosters positive public policy in the best interests of our award-winning park system. We will protect donor privacy, abide by the Donor Bill of Rights and report openly and accurately regarding all Foundation activities, accepting fully our responsibility to serve the public good and meet our obligations. We will strive to reflect our broad-based community in board membership and staffing and the selection of programs and projects the Foundation supports while respecting all donors and supporters equally. We will establish and sustain trusting and supportive relationships with Montgomery Parks and throughout the community, reinforcing the importance of mutual respect in an effort to attain mutually beneficial results. We will conduct all business with the highest professional, moral and ethical standards and report honestly about our operations and finances. We will strive for excellence in fulfilling all programs and projects and will reflect in all we do the exceptional pride we take in our outstanding park system.

The Trust was set up for the purpose of benefit to or for the poor and needy, or to or for the benefit of such other charitable institutions and societies as the Club shall in a duly constituted meeting from time to time direct.

The vision of WOW is to see young people develop into adults with honesty, integrity, respect, responsibility, compassion and faith in Christ. Our mission statement is; to develop and deepen trusting relationships between youth and Christ through Christian adults using watersports.
