They exist to serve individuals with Down syndrome by providing a fun, active, and supportive environment to enable our Athletes to grow both physically and personally by engaging them in activities that positively impact athletic, social and emotional development. Our vision is that every individual with Down syndrome will conquer their challenges and achieve their fullest potential. Buddy Up For Life is passionately dedicated to raising the bar by focusing on increasing the quality of life for our Athletes with Down syndrome via three fundamental pillars: cultivation of increased independence, promotion of greater health and wellness, and fostering of meaningful friendships.

PLAY International

PLAY International is a charity founded in 1999 on a conviction: sport is a source of solutions to our societal challenges. Its mission is to cocreate and implement education and inclusion projects for children and youth in vulnerable situations, using sport and sport games as educational tools. The NGO works in particular on issues such as access to and retention in school, gender equalitý, community reconciliation, health prevention, environmental education, living together, changing the way we look at disability... Since its creation, it has implemented educational and humanitarian projects, in France and internationally in 20 countries, for the benefit of nearly one million children.

Nashville Dolphins (Dolphin Aquatics)

It is the Nashville Dolphins' mission to combat the alarmingly high statistic of drowning deaths in children and adults with special needs. The Nashville Dolphins provide lifelong, comprehensive adaptive aquatic lessons ranging from water safety and survival through competitive swim team programming for individuals with special needs at no cost to the families. In addition, we empower our participants to experience the joy and pride of being a lifetime member of the Nashville Dolphins family. Our programs aim to enhance the quality, health, and safety of the daily lives of both our participants and their family members, within a safe and socially supportive community environment.

Share Winter Foundation

TO IMPROVE THE LIVES, HEALTH AND FITNESS OF YOUTH IN THE UNITED STATES THROUGH WINTER SPORTS.Our goal is to help introduce 100,000 youth to winter sports each year. Increasing the activity for each of these children will contribute to the national fight against obesity. Special Love

Special Love provides a strong, nurturing environment for children with cancer and their families; through its free camps and get-away weekends, emergency financial assistance, personal development programming for young adult cancer survivors and educational scholarships for young adults who want to move on from cancer and on with their lives.Since its inception in 1983, nearly 1,000 children and families each year benefit from Special Love’s support, coming from up and down the east coast, as well as areas all across the country through its unique partnership with the National Institutes of Health.

North Star Reach

North Star Reach offers life-changing camp experiences for children with serious health challenges and their families. Campers at North Star Reach experience all of the fun, joy and independence that all children receive at camp and appreciate a rare sense of normalcy. Campers leave with improved self-esteem, restored childhood and a sense of accomplishment at attempting challenges in an environment that provides physical, emotional and medical support and supervision. Campers, staff and volunteers are all impacted in a positive way by the camp experience. Additionally, parents have a much-needed opportunity for respite and many report that their children return from camp with a new sense of autonomy and independence.

Shifting Gears United

This Mission and Purpose of Shifting Gears United, Inc., is to provide adapted sports to wounded veterans, first responders and the physically challenge community. Empower, educate and enable this disable community to train and participate in main stream sports, as well as achieving and teaching their personal goals. Inspire valves of respect, fairness, honestly, community of inclusion and acceptance, self confidence and camaraderie. We provide multi adapted sport programs to assist in rehabilitation through wellness and health. We encourage and welcome anyone to contact us to participate in our monthly kayak clinics, swimming or meet up for a handcycle class or join the team on our weekly ride.

America Scores Bay Area

America SCORES Bay Area (SCORES) is the local affiliate of the national organization, America SCORES, that strengthens communities and empowers youth through soccer, voice, and service. SCORES addresses health and educational disparities in underserved public school communities in San Francisco, Hayward, San Rafael, and Oakland by providing 1,600 students with access to programs that help students to establish a lifelong enthusiasm for learning through team-based soccer, literary arts, and civic engagement activities. Now in its 19th year of service in the Bay Area, SCORES offers programs at 72 under-served public elementary and middle school communities and through deep partnerships with area School Districts, Recreation and Parks Departments, and community-based organizations.
