The American Canyon Community And Parks Foundation (Accpf) Is Dedicated To Enhancing Parks, Program And A Play In Our Community

The Sonoma County Parks Foundation raises funds, fosters partnerships and advocates on behalf of Sonoma County Regional Parks. The nonprofit is funded primarily by individual donors, and gifts to the Parks Foundation help build and maintain trails, fund fire prevention, support climate change initiatives, engage youth in the outdoors, and protect wildlife and sensitive habitats.

The mission of the Bridgeport Field of Dreams Foundation is to support Bridgeport public school athletes’ abilities to participate and compete with dignity, pride, and personal integrity.

THE KIDS GOLF FOUNDATION OF ILLINOIS IS DEDICATED TO BRINGING THE SPORT OF GOLF INTO THE LIVES OF YOUNG CHILDREN AND PROVIDING THEM WITH AN OPPORTUNITY FOR PERSONAL GROWTH AND CAREER ENHANCEMENT.

The Bob Marshall Wilderness Foundation connects Americans with their wilderness heritage by providing access to and stewardship of one of the world's most spectacular places -Montana's Bob Marshall Wilderness Complex, the crown jewel of the Wilderness System. We help hundreds of hard-working volunteers, including youth, develop a land ethic and give back to the wilderness by opening trails, restoring heavily used areas, maintaining historic structures and fighting weeds. Active wilderness stewardship is our mission. The Bob Marshall Wilderness Foundation: Provides its hard-working volunteers with a unique back country experience Works cooperatively with the US Forest Service to engage youth groups, individual volunteers and other organizations. Opens and clears trails enjoyed by thousands of wilderness users year-round Ensures that future generations will continue to have safe access to The Bob Is a non-profit, tax deductible 501(c)3 organization dependent on donations

The Ragged Mountain Foundation (RMF) was formed to take over the stewardship and eventual ownership of Ragged Mountain with the goal of preserving access to an iconic New England cliff for climbers and hikers. However, the acquisition of Ragged Mountain was just one step in a larger mission that revolves around the preservation of -- and public access to -- Connecticut’s high and wild places. With this in mind, the RMF's mission is three-fold: 1) Promoting safe, responsible, recreational use of Connecticut’s natural spaces 2) Advocating for recreational access (including but not limited to climbing) 3) Acquiring and preserving areas of recreational and environmental importance

TennGreen Land Conservancy (formerly the Tennessee Parks & Greenways Foundation) is an accomplished, 501(c)(3) nonprofit land trust dedicated to protecting Tennessee’s natural treasures. Founded in 1998, we are the oldest accredited, statewide land trust in Tennessee. We serve all Tennesseans, and through collaboration with members, private landowners, local municipalities, and state and federal agencies, we work to create parks, establish wildlife corridors, expand existing protected public lands, and enhance public recreation opportunities. We believe that we must do more to protect our natural world so that future generations can enjoy the ecologically-rich, beautiful, and historically-significant treasures that make Tennessee unique.

The New York Ski Educational Foundation (NYSEF) mission is to provide opportunities for athletes of all ages to reach their potential in snow sports-- alpine skiing, freestyle skiing, snowboarding, ski jumping, cross country skiing, Nordic combined, and biathlon-- through professional guidance and financial support. NYSEF helps young people develop athletic capability, sportsmanship, self-discipline, and self-esteem, leaving them better equipped to achieve academic excellence. Much like anything else worthwhile, NYSEF began as a dream. In the late 60’s, ski areas scattered across New York State which increased ample youngsters’ enthusiasm about snow sports and skiing fast. Top skiers were quickly faced with an ultimatum due to costs-leaving the sport or leaving the area (New York State) and competing elsewhere. Unified by a vision of offering racers in the Empire State the opportunity to train with an elite coaching staff on world class terrain at a reasonable cost, the New York State Ski Racing Association (NYSSRA) decided to shape the future of ski racing in the Adirondacks. In 1973, through the support of NYSSRA, a new headquarters was constructed in the form of a small cabin at Whiteface Mountain Ski Area in Wilmington. Since its beginning, NYSEF has since grown to include 5 disciplines, 4 training venues and over 400 athletes, some of whom have competed in the Winter Olympic Games.
