The Bob Marshall Wilderness Foundation connects Americans with their wilderness heritage by providing access to and stewardship of one of the world's most spectacular places -Montana's Bob Marshall Wilderness Complex, the crown jewel of the Wilderness System. We help hundreds of hard-working volunteers, including youth, develop a land ethic and give back to the wilderness by opening trails, restoring heavily used areas, maintaining historic structures and fighting weeds. Active wilderness stewardship is our mission. BBSEF (formerly Bogus Basin Ski Racing Alliance) was founded in 1967, to provide training and competition programs for aspiring young ski racers. Today BBSEF has grown to include freeskiing and snowboard programs. BBSEF has programs for ages 6 -19 who want to compete in alpine ski racing, freeskiing & snowboarding. Our focus is the development of the athlete as a whole. We believe the overall impact of sports goes well beyond the athletic results, instilling: sportsmanship, accountability, building character and confidence. Sports bring opportunities to make new friends, dream, and work toward the future. It’s no surprise that the Athletes of BBSEF have gone on to become collegiate scholars, Olympians, and leaders in their communities. Shirzanan works to expand access to sport for Muslim women and girls worldwide. We use sports and media to catalyze discussion and advancements in women's rights and gender equality. We produce and disseminate stories - particularly to populations whose governments limit free information and women's rights. Shirzanan is the Persian word for "female heroes" and an apt description of the Muslim female athletes who triumph over cultural, social and religious barriers to excel at sport. We promote them as role models who speak out and stand up against discrimination. To shape a positive narrative around Muslim females and counter stereotypes exacerbated by mainstream media, we train female journalists to cover female athletes and train female athletes as role models and advocates. We uphold the Olympic Charter's statement that "The practice of sport is a human right." Everyone deserves access to sport and its consequent health, academic, economic, social and gender equality.

The specific and primary purpose of the Westlake High School Lacrosse Booster Club is to induce and stimulate parent and student participation in the extra-curricular activity of team lacrosse, and to establish a fund from which the aforementioned activities may be provided with equipment, materials, supplies, coaches stipends and financial support which is not available through school funds. **Be reminded that no player will be excluded from participation regardless of their donation** California law guarantees students a public education free of charge, including extracurricular activities. Students are therefore entitled access to educational activities, and to all materials, supplies, equipment and uniforms necessary for the educational activity, without charges or security deposits. There are some narrow fee authorizations in the law, and we ask for and encourage donations to assist us in our effort to continue providing high quality courses ad activities, but all donations are strictly voluntary. Camp Aranzazu (pronounced Ah ran' zah zoo) is dedicated to enriching the lives of children and adults with chronic illnesses and special needs by providing unique camping, environmental studies, and retreat experiences to groups with special needs. We accomplish this mission based on an ecumenical understanding that as people of God, we are called to demonstrate love and compassion for others, and responsibility for our environment. The barrier-free facility features paved walkways to assist wheelchair travel, specialized equipment to enable maximum participation in water sports and other physical activities, as well as a medical facility for campers requiring daily treatments and medications. The camp seeks to create and maintain a partnership between the campers and the land that preserves and protects the existing habitat for native and endangered species of plants and animals, and complements the history of the area and local community. Many community partners have joined together to help make the camp experience extraordinary and unique from any other camp program. Some of these community partners include the Rockport Center for the Arts, Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, the Texas Department of Parks and Wildlife, and the The University of Texas Marine Science Institute.

Established in 1986, Buffalo Bayou Partnership (BBP) is the non-profit organization transforming and revitalizing Buffalo Bayou, Houston's most significant natural resource. BBP's geographic focus is the 10-square mile stretch of Buffalo Bayou from Shepherd Drive to the Port of Houston Turning Basin. Thanks to the generous support of foundations, corporations, individuals and government agencies, BBP has raised and leveraged more than $150 million for the redevelopment and stewardship of the waterfront - spearheading award-winning projects such as Sabine Promenade and Sesquicentennial Park, protecting land for future parks, constructing hike and bike trails, and operating comprehensive clean-up and maintenance programs. In 2015, BBP completed the $58 million Buffalo Bayou Park project that includes major destinations, natural landscaping, footpaths, trail lighting, water features and pedestrian bridges. Buffalo Bayou Partnership maintains and operates Buffalo Bayou Park, with annual funding provided by the Downtown Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone (TIRZ) #3. Buffalo Bayou Partnership also seeks ways to activate Buffalo Bayou through pedestrian, boating and biking amenities; volunteer activities; permanent and temporary art installations; and wide-ranging tours and events that attract thousands.

Our mission is to restore a sense of dignity and pride in young Egyptian women by building their self-confidence and empowering them mentally and physically to develop themselves. Heya Masr targets disadvantaged young girls and boys aged 6-18 to strengthen their character. We do this by providing a safe and nurturing environment for physical activities, nutritional and healthy lifestyle education, character development activities, sexual harassment, and bullying awareness and self-defense strategies. We believe that to make an impact, and we need to educate both young women and men equally. Heya Masr is empowering a young generation of girls and boys now for a better Egypt tomorrow. Heya Masr uniquely targets girls at an early age since we rely on UN studies (1) that indicate that behavioral changes occur at the early stages of development. This approach helps us equip women with mechanisms to rise above the negative impacts of extreme deprivation, abuse, and other adversities in their most formative years of development. We seek a proactive impact on women during adolescence to become stronger, more confident, and independent, thereby positively influencing future generations in Egypt. The New York Ski Educational Foundation (NYSEF) mission is to provide opportunities for athletes of all ages to reach their potential in snow sports-- alpine skiing, freestyle skiing, snowboarding, ski jumping, cross country skiing, Nordic combined, and biathlon-- through professional guidance and financial support. NYSEF helps young people develop athletic capability, sportsmanship, self-discipline, and self-esteem, leaving them better equipped to achieve academic excellence. Much like anything else worthwhile, NYSEF began as a dream. In the late 60’s, ski areas scattered across New York State which increased ample youngsters’ enthusiasm about snow sports and skiing fast. Top skiers were quickly faced with an ultimatum due to costs-leaving the sport or leaving the area (New York State) and competing elsewhere. Unified by a vision of offering racers in the Empire State the opportunity to train with an elite coaching staff on world class terrain at a reasonable cost, the New York State Ski Racing Association (NYSSRA) decided to shape the future of ski racing in the Adirondacks. In 1973, through the support of NYSSRA, a new headquarters was constructed in the form of a small cabin at Whiteface Mountain Ski Area in Wilmington. Since its beginning, NYSEF has since grown to include 5 disciplines, 4 training venues and over 400 athletes, some of whom have competed in the Winter Olympic Games.

The Battery Conservancy, a non-profit educational corporation, was created in 1994 to revitalize The Battery and renew the spirit of Castle Clinton National Monument, the park's major landmark. The goal is to return The Battery and Castle to their historic roles as the center of cultural life in the Harbor and Downtown New York. The historic Battery, at the southern tip of Manhattan, is one of the most visited parks in New York City. An estimated 6 million people visit The Battery and the Castle annually, including national and international tourists, school children, and local residents and workers in Downtown Manhattan. Sweeping views of the Harbor and the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island frame the setting for New York's premier waterfront park. Visitors stroll along the 1500-foot Admiral Dewey Promenade at the water's edge, which is also the point of departure for the many ferries taking people to harbor attractions. The park's 25 acres are home to 21 monuments, memorials and works of art, many related to the Battery's role in the history of immigration and defense. The Conservancy plays a pivotal role among organizations vitally interested in the future of The Battery, the downtown district, the waterfront, the quality of community life and the environment in New York. New York City owns and maintains Battery Park through the Department of Parks & Recreation; the U.S. government owns and maintains Castle Clinton through the National Park Service; and both are major sites in New York State's Harbor Heritage Area. Warrie Price, founding President of the Conservancy, serves as the City's Battery Park Administrator and the State's Heritage Area Director.

Promotion of access to basic social Services such as Quality Education, Health care, infrastructure, Water and Sanitation. 2. Advocate for Women, youth, Girls, People Living with HIV/AIDS, People with Disability and Children's rights. 3. Raising awareness on Environmental Conservation, Protection and Rehabilitation. 4. Empower the Community embrace development initiative and economically. 5. Improving agriculture by promoting sustainable farming systems which are environmentally sound, economically viable and socially acceptable, which will improve agricultural productivity and market opportunities for small holder farmers and promote sustainable agriculture, control over land and other natural resources. The Vision of the organization has always been to be a refugee run organization attuned to refugee needs and positioned to craft interventions responsive to those needs. The focus has evolved over the years as conditions have changed. In the early days, the primary need was to respond to and alert the public and authorities to the horrific experiences of refugees as they fled Arakan state in Myanmar (Burma) and made their way to the "relative" safety of Malaysia. Many refugees were sold into slavery and others were killed for unpaid ransom demanded from their families in Myanmar and, sadly, others were killed for organ harvesting. As the trafficking routes became more difficult, the flow diminished, although it never stopped completely. With this change, the organization began to see a wide range of needs emerge as those trafficked realized that Malaysia was not the benign, welcoming environment they had expected it to be. Nor was it just a way-station on the journey to relocation in a more developed country. In reality, Malaysia is likely to be their home for an extended period, if not indefinitely. With approximately 200,000 refugees in Malaysia, 20,000 of them in Penang state, a wide spectrum of needs emerged. These included health, security, income generation, education and social challenges faced by refugees. This resulted in the expansion of the organization's focus, as it responded to the most critical needs as defined by the refugees themselves. While the activities and services have multiplied over the years, the Mission of the organization has remained the same: to empower refugees to re-establish a sense of hope for the future and to rebuild individual, family and community support systems that promote independence and resiliency. Although the organization is registered with the Malaysian government under the name "Persatuan Komuniti Berdikari" (Resilient Community Association), it was more commonly known as Penang Stop Human Trafficking Campaign. As time evolved and the needs served broadened, the name ASPIRE Penang was adopted for general use.
