The National D-Day Memorial Foundation's mission is to preserve the lessons and legacies of D-Day, June 6, 1944. The Foundation maintains and operates the National D-Day Memorial in direct support of that educational mission. In so doing, the Foundation ensures the integrity and security of our nation's memorial to the valor, fidelity, and sacrifice of the Allied Forces on D-Day, 6 June 1944 through veterans recognition events, lectures, school programming, teacher training, D-Day research, and commemorations.

We help hundreds of hard-working volunteers, including youth, develop a land ethic and give back to the wilderness by opening trails, restoring heavily used areas, maintaining historic structures and fighting weeds. Active wilderness stewardship is our mission. The Bob Marshall Wilderness Foundation: Provides its hard-working volunteers with a unique back country experience Works cooperatively with the US Forest Service to engage youth groups, individual volunteers and other organizations. The Sonoma County Parks Foundation raises funds, fosters partnerships and advocates on behalf of Sonoma County Regional Parks. The nonprofit is funded primarily by individual donors, and gifts to the Parks Foundation help build and maintain trails, fund fire prevention, support climate change initiatives, engage youth in the outdoors, and protect wildlife and sensitive habitats.

TennGreen Land Conservancy (formerly the Tennessee Parks & Greenways Foundation) is an accomplished, 501(c)(3) nonprofit land trust dedicated to protecting Tennessee’s natural treasures. Founded in 1998, we are the oldest accredited, statewide land trust in Tennessee. We serve all Tennesseans, and through collaboration with members, private landowners, local municipalities, and state and federal agencies, we work to create parks, establish wildlife corridors, expand existing protected public lands, and enhance public recreation opportunities. We believe that we must do more to protect our natural world so that future generations can enjoy the ecologically-rich, beautiful, and historically-significant treasures that make Tennessee unique.
