The Carl Schurz Park Conservancy

The mission of Carl Schurz Park Conservancy is to restore and beautify Carl Schurz Park, complementing the efforts of the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation. Our goal is to enhance the public's enjoyment and involvement in the Park. The Conservancy organizes volunteers to execute its projects and sponsors community events that are open to all.

We are committed to providing a positive environment, where our participants develop and enhance their track skills and learn teamwork, respect, and discipline, which are the essential skills needed to compete effectively at the next level. We firmly believe that team building also helps to develop our youth both emotionally and socially. As coaches who also mentor our participants, we will help our athletes build positive self-images and strive to reach athletic and academic goals and achievements. Good sportsmanship, for athletes as well as parents, is enforced so that we continue to promote and develop friendships along the way; this is achieved by encouraging our youth in a positive manner and giving parental support and encouragement from fellow teammates.

TGA Sports Foundation

We provide and support opportunities that make golf and tennis accessible to children and proactively promote the physical, educational, social and character-building elements of these lifelong sports.

Brown Ledge Foundation

The Brown Ledge Foundation oversees the operation, perpetuation, and educational mission of Brown Ledge Camp. The Foundation exists to support Camp's current and future programs and preserve its natural setting on Lake Champlain. Brown Ledge Camp is a nonprofit camp that exists to develop community, self-discipline, responsibility and achievement in girls and young women, through self-directed participation in varied activities in a high quality summer program.

Piers Park Sailing Center

Located on the waterfront in East Boston, Massachusetts, the Piers Park Sailing Center (PPSC) is a community sailing center dedicated to providing recreational, educational and personal growth opportunities for people of all ages and abilities through sailing and marine science education on Boston Harbor.

Prospect Park Alliance

In partnership with the City of New York and the community, the Prospect Park Alliance restores, develops, and operates Prospect Park for the enjoyment of all by caring for the natural environment, preserving historic design, and serving the public through facilities and programs. Prospect Park's 585 acres of meadows, waterfalls, forest, lakes, and athletic facilities comprise a masterwork of urban green space.

Friends of Eagle Island

Donated by the Graves family in 1937 to provide learning opportunities and out-of-door experiences for girls and young women, Eagle Island Camp has developed generations of women leaders. The mission of Friends of Eagle Island, Inc., is to perpetuate this legacy by providing an environmentally responsible Adirondack island camping experience for diverse youth, with an emphasis on girls and young women, while preserving Eagle Island’s natural and historic character.
