The Humane Society Of Rochester And Monroe County for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Inc. was founded in 1873. Since the 1950's the Society has been known as Lollypop Farm, its name coming from the then popular Shirley Temple song - On the Good Ship Lollipop. Our mission is to build lifelong bonds between people and animals through education, community outreach programs, and the prevention of cruelty.  We envision a time when our community celebrates the human-animal bond; embraces the mutual benefits therein; and treats all fellow beings with care, compassion and respect.

To offer hope after the death of a loved one by providing support networks, community education and therapeutic activities that are free, peer-based, and ongoing.

To provide for the childresn of the Christian community an excellent education, rooted in God's Word, preparing them for lifelong service in God's Kingdom.

The Gladys Allen Brigham Community Center is a multi-service community center empowering children and youth, with a special emphasis on girls, to become responsible, confident and personally fullfilled individuals.

The Cove Center for Grieving Children provides hope and healing for grieving children and education and training for those working with them in the community.

THEIR MISSION: New Image Youth Center is to change the path of at-risk children through education and example.  One of the longest-serving youth organizations in the Parramore community, we provide a range of services to students in grades K-12, at no cost to participants.

The Crisis Center is a non-profit community organization that provides emergency shelter and other essential services to victims of domestic violence, and addresses the societal issues that contribute to domestic violence. The Crisis Center serves the Greater Chicago Southland, the main focus areas being the ten townships in its original service area: Bloom, Bremen, Calumet, Lemont, Orland, Palos, Rich, Stickney, Thornton, and Worth. This encompasses the Circuit Court of Cook County Fifth and Sixth Municipal Districts in Bridgeview and Markham. However, clients come from all over the state of Illinois, from other states, and occasionally from other countries.

The South End Community Health Center is a board governed non-profit, comprehensive health care organization for all residents of the South End and the surrounding communities. We are committed to providing the highest quality, culturally and linguistically sensitive, coordinated health care and social services to every patient, regardless of their ability to pay.

The Milwaukee Area Health Education Center (Milwaukee-AHEC) connects students to careers, professionals to communities, and communities to better health. Since 1992, Milwaukee-AHEC has worked to forge collaborative partnerships with health-related employers, community-based organizations, academic institutions, and other sectors to advance community and public health that will impact health outcomes.
