The Andrew Glover Youth Program was incorporated in 1979 and has continued under the leadership of Angel Rodriguez who is largely responsible for the innovative Youth Part model in the city’s justice system that conducts a separate, specialized intake of youth entering the criminal justice system - a concept now adopted throughout the city and other urban justice systems.   For three decades, the Glover Program has pursued a three-fold mission t Intervene to divert and reclaim young people from lives of crime by providing alternatives of education, job-readiness training, counseling with appropriate referrals, and positive, supportive role models; Provide an overloaded court system with a reliable, effective and inexpensive alternative to incarceration of youths; Make the Lower East Side and East Harlem safer for everyone through an ongoing focus on crime prevention.

The services, programs and projects of CCF exist to eliminate individual and structural barriers to higher education, economic security, long term stability, and civic participation for women who have criminal convictions (including those currently and formerly incarcerated) and their families. CCF guides women seeking to reclaim their lives through the stages of higher education while promoting their leadership, self-advocacy, artistic expression, and long term success.

The All-American Boys Chorus empowers and gives voice to boys from diverse backgrounds to build self-confidence, self-discipline, leadership skills, and realize achievement through the transformative power of music.

TMPLC's mission is to provide meaningful after school activities and interventions to support academic, emotional and social growth in children.

The Mademoiselle Service & Social Club is a 501 (c)(3) charity formed in 2004 by Mlle. Shannan E. Johnson and Mlle. Brandii Mayes. The Mademoiselle Club is comprised of young, professional women committed to mentoring and uplifting young ladies of color from the inner-city through cooperative projects and events that will help foster their development as model women in their communities and beyond. Major events include an annual conference, community service project, and leadership retreat.

The Bridge is on a mission to build connections that inspire positive change using sports as a catalyst to empower the youth and their communities.

Girls on the Run is a proven, transformational physical activity-based positive youth development program for girls in 3rd-8th grades. Across Athens, Atlanta and North Georgia, we teach social-emotional skills through a research-based curriculum that incorporates dynamic interactive lessons and running games. Our girls grow in confidence and learn how to express themselves, manage emotions, resolve conflict, create balance in their lives, choose and maintain healthy relationships, set goals, and stand up for themselves and others. They also work as a team to create and execute a community impact project. The program culminates with the girls being physically and emotionally prepared to complete a celebratory 5k running event together.

Founded in 1998, Live the Life (LTL) has the goal of strengthening marriages and families. We have the vision that communities will become “divorce-free zones” where divorce is rarely, if ever, wanted or needed, and where strong marriages are encouraged, nurtured, developed, and maintained. As our dream comes true, more children will grow up in safe, happy, and healthy married families characterized by nurturing parents, permanence and better life outcomes.

Friends in the City Foundation is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide youth mentoring and educational resources that impact urban communities. We will accomplish our mission through the vision of encouraging a growth mindset, enhancing our outreach, empowering the youth, embracing diversity and expanding our network.

Our cabin is run by Friends of the Scout Cabin. A 501C3 nonprofit. Originally built in the late 1920's, this building was totally rebuilt by volunteers after the 1996 flood. Ready for business in 2000 it is still ran by the same base of volunteers. We care about the quality of our facility and the service to you. OUR PURPOSE - Assist in providing the youth of Vernonia an area in which to gather and hold group events. - Provide the community of Vernonia and outlying areas with a place to hold group functions. - Encourage others to participate in various fundraisers for the renovation and operations of the cabin.
