We provide media tools and training to connect people with their government. We empower people to use media to build community.

The mission of Partners for Youth Opportunity (a merge of Partners for Youth and YO:Durham) is to partner with the community to provide Durham youth with opportunities to connect, develop, and contribute through mentoring, employment and educational support. Our state-of-the-art community center offers a safe haven with programs in the arts, sciences, leadership, entrepreneurship, and wellness for girls in middle and high school. Programs are offered at no cost to girls and their families.The Lower Eastside Girls Club breaks the cycle of poverty by training the next generation of ethical, entrepreneurial, and environmental leaders. Girls Club members overcome adversity, perceive opportunity, develop self-confidence, make ethical decisions and healthy life choices, thrive academically, embrace leadership, and have the ability to enter college or the workforce as fully prepared and connected adults

Thrive City is a community-based organization purposing to provide opportunity for all people to thrive together. The goal of Thrive City is to improve the likelihood of at-risk youth to be academically, socially, and personally successful so they are ready for life beyond the high school experience, surrounded by and connected to positive family and community support.

The Southwest School of Art & Craft teaches, preserves, and advances the visual arts. We expand the creative potential of our community and connect cultures of the world through participatory learning experiences. In addition, its purpose is also to preserve and present the former Ursuline Convent and Academy as a place of historic significance.

Urban Youth Collaborative, founded by Dr. Nate Landis in 2007, seeks to connect middle and high schools to local churches in the greater San Diego area. Through discipleship, student led campus clubs, service projects, camps and more, UYC serves nearly 80 schools and 40 churches across San Diego.

Leadership Initiatives (LI) renews democracies on a grassroots level by cultivating self-reliant leadership. We help individuals and communities forge the connections necessary to solve local problems using existing community resources. In the process we train a new generation of innovative, resourceful leaders poised to catapult their neighborhoods, regions, and nations forward.

HealGrief is dedicated to supporting the bereaved by offering a virtual location, without geographical boundaries, where individuals and a community can communicate about death, connect, mourn and heal, while celebrating a loved one’s life. Our commitment is to provide an understanding of grief by increasing universal awareness and education, while offering resources to support a healthy grief recovery.
